가성비 호텔뷔페 재방문해보고 알게 된 사실 [홀리데이인 익스프레스 서울홍대]

오늘은 지난번 반응이 좋았던 홀리데이인 익스프레스 서울홍대 런치뷔페 (선셋클라우드 ) 재방문 후기를 공유하려 합니다. 이번 방문에서는 처음 알게 된 새로운 사실들을 중심으로 포스팅해 보겠습니다.

Today, I would like to share my follow-up review of the Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae lunch buffet (Sunset Cloud), which received a great response last time.
In this visit, I will focus on new discoveries I made.
 

 
홀리데이인 익스프레스 서울홍대의 런치 뷔페 가격은 성인 19,800원, 어린이 9,900원이며, 미취학 아동은 무료입니다!
하지만 호텔 투숙객은 10% 할인이 적용되어 성인 한 사람당 17,000원대로 호텔 뷔페를 이용할 수 있다는 사실!
여기 호텔 투숙객이라면 점심을 뷔페에서 해결하는 것이 확실히 이득인 것 같애요.
왜냐면 호텔 근처 나가서 점심을 먹으려면, 파스타 한 접시가 17000대 훌쩍 넘어가거나 샌드위치에 아이스커피 한잔 마셔도 비슷한 가격대가 나옵니다. 게다가 미취학 아동과 여행중인 가족기준으로... 아이에게도 음식과 음료 주문해 주려면 가격이 은근 많이 드는데요. 여기 호텔 뷔페는 미취학 아동 요금이 무료이니까 호텔 내 런치뷔페 이용하는 것이 아주 합리적인 소비라고 생각이 드네요.
IHG 프래티넘/다이아몬드 멤버 전용 입장 카운터라고 적혀 있길래 이와 관련한 혜택이 있는지 한번 문의해봤어요. 
( 왜냐면 현재 IHG 다이아몬드 등급이기 때문에 ㅋㅋ )
그런데 호텔 투숙객 대상이지, 식사만 하려고 온 IHG 멤버는 어떠한 혜택이 없다고 했습니다. 참고하세요~ 
 
 
The lunch buffet at Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae is priced at 19,800 KRW for adults, 9,900 KRW for children, and preschool-aged children dine for free!
But here's the surprising fact: hotel guests receive a 10% discount, making the buffet cost around 17,000 KRW per adult!
It's truly remarkable, isn't it? If you're a hotel guest, having lunch at the buffet seems like a definite advantage.
Because if you were to go out for lunch near the hotel, a single plate of pasta easily exceeds 17,000 KRW, and even just a sandwich with an iced coffee would come out to a similar price range. Moreover, when considering families with preschool-aged children traveling, ordering food and drinks for kids can add up unexpectedly.
Here, since preschool-aged children dine for free, utilizing the hotel buffet for lunch seems like a very rational choice.
The sign said "IHG Platinum/Diamond Member Exclusive Entrance Counter," so I inquired about any related benefits. (Because I'm currently an IHG Diamond member, lol)
However, they informed me that the benefits are primarily for hotel guests, and there are no specific benefits for IHG members who are just dining. Just a heads-up!
 

 
미리 예약하고 갔는데 오늘은 창가 자리로 안내 받았습니다. 
런치 뷔페 먹으면서 7층에서 바라보는 시내 전경이 보기 좋았습니다. 
 
I made a reservation in advance, and today we were seated by the window.
It was delightful to enjoy the lunch buffet while overlooking the cityscape from the 7th floor.
 

 
재방문한 '선셋클라우드 런치뷔페'는 메뉴가 조금씩 달라져 있었어요. 
전에 보았던 딸기 요거트와 파인애플, 람부탄, 오렌지가 있었는데, 이번에는 플레인 요거트와 파일애플, 람부탄, 포도로 종류가 바뀌어 있었어요.  파인애플이 통조림처럼 정말 달고 맛있었습니다. 
 
During my revisit to the "Sunset Cloud Lunch Buffet," I noticed that the menu had some slight changes.
Previously, there was strawberry yogurt along with pineapples, rambutans, and oranges.
However, this time, there was plain yogurt and the fruit selection included pineapples, rambutans, and grapes. The pineapple tasted exceptionally sweet and delicious, almost like it was freshly canned.
 

 
디저트 종류도 달라졌어요. 
전에는 딸기무스케이크, 딸기 롤케이크, 유자 파운드케이크 였는데, 이번에 바뀐 디저트 종류는 브라우니, 블루베리 롤케이크, 바닐라 조각케이크가 있었습니다. 
먹어 보니 개인적으로 전에 먹었던 딸기무스케이크랑 유자 파운드 케이크가 더 맛있었습니다. 
 

The dessert selection has also changed.
Previously, there were strawberry mousse cake, strawberry roll cake, and yuzu pound cake, but this time, the dessert options include brownie, blueberry roll cake, and vanilla slice cake.
After trying them, personally, I found that the strawberry mousse cake and yuzu pound cake I had before were tastier.
 

 

전에 먹었던 양념치킨메뉴가 쿵팡오 치킨으로.. 또 브르콜리 스프가 양송이 스프로 바뀌어 있었고 나머지 메인 요리는 전부 동일했어요.  
 
I discovered that the seasoned chicken dish I had before was replaced with Kung Pao Chicken. Additionally, the broccoli soup was changed to mushroom soup, while the rest of the main dishes remained the same.
 

 
재방문해보니 전체적으로 음식은 비슷한데 메인요리 한 가지 ,요거트, 디저트, 과일 등 아주 조금씩 메뉴가 바뀐다고 생각하시면 됩니다.
비교해보니 전에 포스팅한 홀리데이인 익스프레스 서울홍대 런치뷔페 사진과 거의 동일하네요. 
가격이 합리적이라도 해도 자주 오면 똑같은 메뉴에 자칫하면 질릴 수도 있겠군요.
아주 가끔~~ 모임 장소로 오기에 좋겠어요.  
 
Upon revisiting, I found that overall, the food was similar, but there were slight changes in one main dish, yogurt, dessert, fruits, and so on.
Upon comparing the photos, they look almost identical to the ones I posted from my previous visit to the Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae lunch buffet.
Despite the reasonable price, frequent visits might lead to boredom with the same menu.
It would be great as an occasional meeting spot.
 

 
평소 뷔페에서 비빔밥은 손이 잘 안가는데, 이왕이면 저번에 먹어보지 못한 메뉴를 먹어보기로 했어요. 
오징어젓갈 비빔밥이 있어서 가져와 봤습니다. 
그동안 야채비빔밥, 소고기 비빔밥, 낙지 비빔밥은 먹어봤으나, 오징어 젓갈 비빔밥은 처음 먹어봅니다. 
오징어 젓갈 자체가 양념이 짠데 고추장까지 비벼 먹으면 엄청 짤 수 있으니 양을 아주 적게 넣어야 합니다. 
 
I don't usually go for bibimbap at buffets, but since I wanted to try something I hadn't tried before, I decided to give the squid kimchi bibimbap a try.
I've tried vegetable bibimbap, beef bibimbap, and squid bibimbap before, but it's my first time trying squid kimchi bibimbap.
Squid kimchi itself is already salty, so when mixed with gochujang, it can become very salty, so you should add only a small amount.
 

 
여기서 가족외식 했는데 부모님께서 가격대비 괜찮은 것 같다고 다음 모임을 여기서 하신대요.
 
Here, we had a family outing, and my parents thought it was worth the price. They said they'd like to have our next gathering here.
