[ 서울 드래곤시티 ] 16000원 킹스베케이션 런치 다녀온 솔직 후기

안녕하세요. 눈사람 호텔리뷰 입니다. 

이번에는 용산에 위치한 서울드래곤시티 에 왔는데요.

 

Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
This time, we're at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan.

 

 

드래곤 시티란?!

노보텔, 이비스스타일, 그랜드머큐어 가 합쳐진 복합호텔단지 입니다. 

 

 

What is Dragon City?!
It's a complex hotel that combines Novotel, Ibis Styles, and Grand Mercure.

 

 

전 사실 .. 드래곤시티의 런치가 14500원 일때부터 눈여겨 왔었는데,

지금은 16000원이고 9월부터 18000원으로 오른다고 합니다. 

그래서 가격 오르기 전에 후다닥 다녀왔어요.

 

Actually, I've been eyeing Dragon City's King's Vacation Lunch since it was 14,500 won.
It's now 16,000 won, and I heard it'll go up to 18,000 won starting in September.
So, I went there right away before the price went up.

 

 

요즘 핫플!! 킹스베케이션 런치 먹으러 왔습니다. 

드래곤시티 황금동상 있는 바로 윗쪽이에요. 

 

A hot spot these days!! I came here for lunch at King's Vacation.
It's right above the Dragon City Golden Statue.

 

 

황금동상을 기준으로 왼쪽은 노보텔, 이비스 스타일 그리고 오른쪽은 그랜드 머큐어 호텔이에요. 

킹스베케이션은 이비스스타일 호텔 방향으로 가면 됩니다. 

 

To the left of the Golden Statue are the Novotel and Ibis Styles, and to the right are the Grand Mercure Hotel.
For Kings Vacation, head towards the Ibis Styles Hotel.

 

 

초록창 예약은 항상 만석이라 현장대기 하려고 왔어요. 

새까만 컬러감이 느껴지는 저 엘리베이터가 킹스베케이션 전용 엘리베이터 입니다. 

이 엘리베이터 꼭 타세요. 탁 트인 개방감이 느껴지고 너무 재밌음. 

호텔 바닥에 업장 위치 방향표시가 되어 있으니깐요. 손쉽게 찾아 올 수 있습니다. 

 

The Green Window is always fully booked, so I came here to wait on-site.
That elevator, with its pitch-black color scheme, is Kings Vacation's exclusive elevator.
You absolutely must ride this elevator. It feels so open and spacious, and it's so much fun.
The hotel has signs on the floor directing you to the business locations, so it's easy to find.

 

화려한 조명바닥이 번쩍이는 엘리베이터에요. 

사실 킹스베케이션은 술집이랍니다. 

밤에는 고급 펍 형태로 운영되구요. 낮에는 1만원대의 호텔 브런치를 즐길 수 있는 멀티형 공간이라고 하네요. 

오늘의 목적지인 31층을 눌러 줍니다. 

 

It's an elevator with a dazzling, illuminated floor.
King's Vacation is actually a bar.
At night, it operates as a high-end pub. During the day, it's a multi-purpose space where you can enjoy a hotel brunch for under 10,000 won.
Let's press the button for today's destination, the 31st floor.

 

 

엘리베이터 타고 올라가는데 속도가 빠르고 특히 통창이라 전경이 한눈에 보입니다. 

이거이거 재밌더라구요~ ㅋㅋ  

엘리베이터만 하나 탔는데도 킹스베케이션 도착했을 때 벌써 기분이 업된 느낌이 들었어요. 

 

The elevator was fast and especially the large windows gave me a panoramic view.
This was so much fun! Haha
Even though I only took one elevator, I felt elated when I arrived at Kings Vacation.

 

 

와보니 기다리는 사람들이 아주아주 많았습니다. 

저는 현장대기 줄 서 볼게요. 

예상 대기시간 50분이라고 적혀 있지만 저렇게 오래 걸리지는 않습니다. 

 

When I arrived, there were a ton of people waiting.
I'll try standing in line.
The estimated wait time is 50 minutes, but it won't be that long.

 

 

< 런치 식사 시간은 11시 30분_ 13시 30분>

11시 15분부터 예약한 사람들이 먼저 입장해요. 

앉아서 기다리는 쇼파도 5개뿐이고 입구 공간이 비좁아서 아마 사람들을 먼저 들여보내는 것 같습니다. 

좌석이 선착순이라 예약하고 오면 먼저 안에 들어가 원하는 자리를 선점할 수 있습니다. 

 

<Lunch hours are 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM>
Those with reservations are admitted first starting at 11:15 AM.
There are only five sofas for waiting, and the entrance is cramped, so they likely let people in first.
Seating is first-come, first-served, so if you make a reservation, you can get in first and secure your desired seat.

 

 

킹스 베케이션 입구에 사람들이 바글바글 했었는데 ㅎㅎ 모두 들어가고 텅 빈 대기석..

그 후로 현장대기 순번을 부릅니다. 

 

The King's Vacation entrance was bustling with people, haha. Everyone's gone, and the waiting area is empty...
After that, they call out your number.

 

 

저는 현장대기 13번째 순번으로 11시 40분에 들어왔습니다. 

처음 들어오자마자 화려한 천장 장식이 눈에 띄였어요. 

수많은 우산 조명이 독특하면서 멋있었습니다. 

그리고 양쪽으로 뻥 뚫린 통창으로 보이는 서울 시내가 정말 끝내줍니다. 

 

I was 13th in line, arriving at 11:40 AM.
The moment I walked in, the ornate ceiling decoration caught my eye.
The numerous umbrella lights were unique and stylish.
And the panoramic view of downtown Seoul through the large windows on both sides was truly breathtaking.

 

 

자리부터 잡아야겠죠?!

저는 음식과 가장 먼쪽 구석에 있는 창가좌석에 앉았습니다. 

예약 안하고 왔는데도 나름 창가좌석 앉기 성공했어요.

이 날 날씨가 좋아가지고 멀리까지 다 보여서 창밖뷰가 더욱 멋졌습니다. 

 

I need to grab a seat first, right?!
I sat in the window seat, in the corner furthest from the food.
Even though I didn't have a reservation, I managed to secure a window seat.
The weather was nice that day, so I could see far into the distance, making the view even more spectacular.

 

 

보니까 모든 자리가 다 차지는 않았어요.

그래서 저처럼 예약 안하고 오셔도 충분히 식사 가능해 보입니다. 

킹스베케이션은 놀면뭐하니 싹쓰리 편의 촬영장소 였는데요,

그때는 수영장이 있었는데 지금은 막아놓고 사용하는 것 같았습니다. 

예상으로는 바닥 빨간색 카페트 깔린 쪽이 원래는 수영장 같애요. 

 

Looking at it, not all the seats were taken.
So, even if you show up without a reservation like me, it looks like you'll be able to eat comfortably.
King's Vacation was the filming location for the episode of "What Do You Do When You Play?" (Ssak3).
Back then, there was a swimming pool, but it seems to be closed off now.

 

 

메뉴 한번 볼께요.

샐러드, 토마토, 오렌지를 시작으로 삶은계란, 튀김, 떡볶이, 부추전, 김치전, 소세지.

오늘은 한식 요일이라서 김치, 미역국, 밥이 있었어요. 

요일마다 한식, 중식, 양식으로 컨셉이 달라진대요. 

 

Let's take a look at the menu.
It starts with salad, tomatoes, and oranges, followed by boiled eggs, fried food, tteokbokki, chive pancakes, kimchi pancakes, and sausages.
Today was Korean Food Day, so we had kimchi, seaweed soup, and rice.
The menu changes each day: Korean, Chinese, and Western.

 

 

그리고 라이브 코너에 냉면이 있습니다. 

요리사 분께서 손수 냉면을 담아 주시는데요. 기호에 맞게 물냉면, 비빔냉면으로 먹을 수 있습니다. 

제가 최근 가성비 호텔뷔페를 많이 다녀봤는데, 가격이 저렴할 수록 전문가의 서비스는 줄어들고 대부분 셀프로 조리해서 먹어야 하더라구요.  그런데 이곳은 가성비 호텔 런치임에도 불구하고, 라이브 코너에서 요리사가 직접 음식을 담아주는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 

참고로 다른 가성비 호텔뷔페의 경우로 예를 들어보자면?!

홀리데이인 홍대 쌀국수, bst 레스토랑 크로플, md호텔 계란요리 등등 모두 손님이 직접 조리해야 하는 방식이었어요.  

 

And there's naengmyeon (cold noodles) in the live corner.
The chef personally prepares the naengmyeon. You can choose between mul naengmyeon (cold noodles) or bibim naengmyeon (spicy noodles) to suit your preference.
I've been to a lot of budget-friendly hotel buffets recently, and the cheaper the price, the less professional service there is, and most of the time, you have to cook for yourself. However, even though this is a budget-friendly hotel lunch, the live corner was impressive, with the chef personally preparing the food.
By the way, what are some examples of other budget-friendly hotel buffets?!
The Holiday Inn Hongdae rice noodles, BST Restaurant croffle, MD Hotel egg dishes, etc., all require guests to prepare their own food.

 

 

빵 종류로 크로아상, 머핀, 시나몬롤이 있었고 오렌지 주스, 차, 커피가 있습니다. 

커피머신에서 에스프레소, 아메리카노, 카페라떼, 카푸치노 가능하더라구요. 

커피 브랜드는 일리커피.

 

There were croissants, muffins, and cinnamon rolls as breads, as well as orange juice, tea, and coffee.
The coffee machine made espresso, Americano, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
The coffee brand was Illy Coffee.

 

 

저는 냉면부터 시작했구요. 비빔냉면 먹었는데 너무 맛있어서 바로 물냉면 하나 더 가져왔습니다. 

삶은 계란도 가져와서 함께 얹어 먹었어요.

요즘은 냉면 한그릇에 15000원 하는 시대인데, 분위기 좋은 호텔에서 16000원에 ( 냉면포함) 여러가지 음식을 먹을 수 있어 가성비 좋다고 생각했어요. 

 

I started with naengmyeon (cold noodles). I had bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and it was so delicious that I immediately ordered another bowl of mul naengmyeon (cold noodles).
I also got a boiled egg and topped it with it.
These days, a bowl of naengmyeon costs 15,000 won, but I thought it was a good value for money to be able to eat a variety of dishes (including naengmyeon) for 16,000 won in a nice hotel.

 

 

어린이는 소세지 반찬에 미역국 밥 말아서 먹이기 좋아요. 그래서 나름 한식 요일에 방문하길 잘한 거 같아요.

중식과 양식도 어떻게 나오는지 궁금해서 나중에 한번 더 방문해 볼까 생각중입니다. 

여기는 특히 머핀이 맛있었는데요!!

퍽퍽한 빵이 아니라 안에 진한 초코크림이 들어있는 머핀이었어요. 

이것도 있을 때 미리 가져다 식사 하세요. 

꼬수운 일리커피와 함께 먹기 좋아서 초코머핀을 더 가지러 갔더니.. 벌써 동나고;; 다른 모닝빵으로 세팅해 두었어요. 

 

Kids love the sausage side dish and the seaweed soup with rice. So, I think it was a good decision to visit on a Korean food day.
I'm curious to see how the Chinese and Western food is served, so I'm thinking of visiting again later.
The muffins here were especially delicious!!
They weren't dry muffins, but rather muffins filled with rich chocolate cream.
Get these while they're still available and enjoy them.
I went to get more chocolate muffins because they go well with my Illy coffee, but they were already sold out. I've set aside other morning breads for you.

 

 

 

드래곤시티 호텔은 물티슈 좋은 거 쓰더라구요.

보통 물티슈와는 다르게 두툼하고 크기도 컸어요. 

 

Dragon City Hotel uses good wet wipes.
Unlike regular wet wipes, they were thicker and larger.

 

 

한가지 더 마음에 들었던 점은 정장 유니폼을 입은 호텔 직원들이 접시를 바로바로 정리해 줍니다. 

아무튼 고급진 분위기에 반가운 지인들과 담소나누며 간단히 브런치 하기 좋은 곳이에요. 

 

Another thing I liked was that the hotel staff, dressed in formal attire, immediately cleared the plates.
In any case, it's a great place for a quick brunch with friends in a sophisticated atmosphere.

 

 

유리바닥 위를 걸어볼 수 도 있습니다. 바로 드래곤시티 스카이워크인데요.

이거 은근 무서워도 스릴있으면서 한번쯤 해 볼만 합니다. 

 

You can also walk on a glass floor at the Dragon City Skywalk.
It's a bit scary, but it's thrilling and worth a try.

 

 

식사 다 하고 화장실 한번 들렸는데요.

화장실 가는 복도조차 중세유럽 갤러리 분위기가 났어요. 

특히 화장실 시설이 깨끗해서 좋았고 칸마다 개인세면대가 설치되어 있어서 편하더라구요. 

 

After finishing my meal, I stopped by the restroom.
Even the hallway leading to the restroom had the feel of a medieval European gallery.
I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the restroom facilities, and each stall had its own sink, which was convenient.

 

 

마무리로 커피 테이크아웃 해서 나갔습니다. 

센스있게 이런거 참 좋네요~!!

 

To finish, I took out some coffee and left.
I really like this kind of thoughtful thing~!!

 

 

엘리베이터 타고 내려갈때 마치 자이로드롭 타는 느낌 (쿠아아앙ㅋㅋ)

When I go down the elevator, it feels like I'm on an amusement ride.

 

 

드래곤시티 로비로 내려왔습니다.

거대한 드래곤 인형이 보이네요~? 

예전에 딸기뷔페 오려고 왔을 때는 없었던 것 같은데요. 

그때는 사실 넓은 로비 공간이 텅 비어있는 느낌이었는데 ,지금은 이 커다한 드래곤인형이 압도적인 존재감을 뿜으며 로비를 채우고 있습니다. 

뒤에서 보니까 인형 엉덩이 너무 귀엽네요 😆 !!

 

I've come down to the Dragon City lobby.
Can you see the giant dragon doll?
I don't think it was there when I came here for the strawberry buffet.
Back then, the spacious lobby felt empty, but now, this giant dragon doll fills the lobby with an overwhelming presence.
Looking at it from behind, its butt is so cute 😆!!

 

 

드래곤시티 킹스베케이션 런치 이용한 저의 소감은요?!!

 

솔직히... 먹을게 별로 없는건 사실이에요. (그동안 다녔던 가성비 호텔뷔페 중 먹을게 없는 편 )

그래도 여기는 뷰가 맛있어서 그런지 만족했습니다!!

여자끼리 간단한 브런치 먹으며 대화 나누기는 좋은데, 남성분들에게는 만족도가 떨어질 수도 있다는 생각을 했어요.

저는 개인적으로 이렇게 시설좋은 호텔에서 16000원짜리 커피 마시러 왔는데, 간단한 브런치도 같이 주네? 라고 생각하니까 좋더라구요. 

요즘 냉면도 15000원 하던데.

이곳처럼 뷰 멋있고 시설좋은 호텔에서 (냉면포함) 여러가지 음식을 먹을 수 있으니 가성비 호텔뷔페 라고 생각합니다. 

다만 개인적 소견으로는 ...가격을 신라스테이(2~3만원대) 정도로 인상해서 음식을 좀 더 신경쓴다면 가성비 호텔뷔페 중 가장 대박날 것 같은곳 이에요. 

 

What were my thoughts on the Dragon City King's Vacation lunch buffet?!!
Honestly... it's true that there wasn't much to eat. (It's one of the least delicious buffets I've ever had at budget-friendly hotel buffets.)
But I was still satisfied, perhaps because of the delicious view!!
It's great for a quick brunch with a group of women, but I thought it might be less satisfying for men.
I personally enjoyed the thought of coming to such a nice hotel for a 16,000 won coffee, and they even included a simple brunch.
I heard even naengmyeon (cold noodles) is 15,000 won these days.
Since you can enjoy a variety of dishes (including naengmyeon) at a hotel with such a great view and facilities, I think it's a great value hotel buffet.
However, in my personal opinion... if they raised the prices to something like Shilla Stay (around 20,000-30,000 won) and put more effort into the food, this place would be a huge hit among budget-friendly hotel buffets.
