두바이여행! 욕조 뷰가 끝내주는 [보코 두바이] IHG Hotel, 조식 포함 호텔 자세한 후기

눈사람호텔리뷰입니다.
오늘은 두바이 여행 갔을 때 묵었던 '보코 두바이' 호텔에 대한 경험을 공유합니다.
 
Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I am sharing my experience of the 'VOCO Dubai' hotel that I stayed during my trip to Dubai.
 

 
보코 두바이는 IHG 계열이라서 쌓아둔 포인트를 쓰려고 선택하게 되었어요. 
IHG 다이아몬드 회원이라 룸 업그레드와 레이트 체크아웃이 가능합니다. 
 
VOCO Dubai is an IHG Hotel, so I chose to use my accumulated points.
As IHG Diamond member, room upgrade and rate check-out are possible.
 

 
이 호텔은 체크인 카운터가 코너쪽에 있고 전체적으로 로비가 ㄱ자로 꺾여있는 구조였어요. 
처음에 로비가 조금 답답하다는 인상을 받았는데, 안쪽으로 좀 더 걸어가면 이렇게 앉을 공간이 나오긴 합니다. 
 
This hotel has a check-in counter on the corner and the lobby is curved in an L shape.
At first, I got the impression that the lobby was a little stuffy, but if you walk a little further inside, you will find a space to sit.
 

 
호텔 인테리어는 회색, 베이지 톤을 베이스로 네이비 컬러와 노란색으로 포인트를 주었어요.  
로비와 마찬가지로 객실 방 컬러도 같은 컨셉으로 통일되어 있습니다. 
이 호텔 위치는 주변에 5성급 호텔들이 쭉 즐비해 있어요. 
두바이는 럭셔리 호텔이 많은 도시로, 경쟁이 치열하기 때문에 5성급 호텔 가격이 생각보다 괜찮은 편이었어요. 
 
The hotel interior is gray and beige, with navy and yellow accents as the base.
Like the lobby, the color of the room is unified with the same concept.
The location of this hotel is lined with five-star hotels around it.
Dubai is a city with a lot of luxury hotels, and the price of a five-star hotel was better than I thought because of the fierce competition.
 

 
이 호텔은 '새'를 브랜드 심볼로 사용하고 있어서 호텔 어디서든지 새와 관련된 그림이나 구조물을 불 수 있어요. 
이것은 자유로움과 여행을 상징한다고 하네요. 
 
This hotel uses 'bird' as a brand symbol, so you can blow pictures or structures related to birds anywhere in the hotel.
It is said that it symbolizes freedom and travel.
 

 
체크인 할 때 쿠키를 선물로 주셨어요. 
이 곳 호텔 직원이 정말 정말 친절합니다. 호텔 로비를 왔다갔다 할 때, 이름을 기억하고 불러 주면서 인사를 해요. 
정말 놀라웠어요. 고객 이름을 외워서 인사를 해 주다니요.... 감동 ㅜㅜ
 
Hotel staff gave me cookies as a gift when I checked in.
She is very, very friendly.
When we come to lobby, she remember names and greet us.
It was amazing. I can't believe she memorized the customer's name and said hello. I'm so touched
 

 

뷰 좋은 방으로 룸을 업그레이드 해 줬대요. 얼마나 좋은지 한번 볼까요.
자동커튼이라 버튼만 누르면 양쪽으로 촤르르르르 열립니다. 
 
They upgraded the room to a room with a nice view. Let's see how good it is.
It's an automatic curtain, so just press the button and it opens on both sides.
 

 
두바이 도시 전경이 한눈에 보이는 룸이었어요. 정말 정말 멋진 곳이에요!!!!!
특히 앞에 두바이 명소인 '미래 박물관'이 보여서 두바이에 온 느낌이 실감났어요.
그리고 특히 이 호텔은 욕실이 하이라이트입니다. 그동안 다녀봤던 호텔 중 가장 멋진 욕실이었어요. 
 
It was a room with a view of the city of Dubai. It's such a wonderful place!!!!!
Especially, I felt like I came to Dubai because I could see Dubai's famous attraction, 'Future Museum'.
And especially in this hotel, the bathroom is the highlight. It was the coolest bathroom I've ever been to.
 

 
욕실에 자동커튼이 있어서 창문을 가릴 수 있어요. 
저는 유교걸이라... 왠지 신경쓰여서 ㅋㅋㅋ 창문을 가려놓고 이용했답니다.
 
There is an automatic curtain in the bathroom, so you can cover the windows.
I used it with the window covered.
 

 
호텔 어메니티는 대용량으로 바디로션, 바디워시, 샴푸, 린스 가 있습니다.
칫솔 치약은 없으니 챙기세요.
그리고 변기와 비데가 있는데, 아이는 이거보고 변기옆에 유아 변기가 있다고 생각했대요. 
중동에 처음 왔을 때 이 낯선 광경을 보고 굉장히 궁금했었는데... 비데 입니다 비데!!
비데가 우리나라와 사뭇 다르게 생겨서 모르는 사람이 굉장히 많더라구요...
 
Hotel amenities include body lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in large capacity.
There is no toothbrush toothpaste, so please bring it.
And there's a toilet and a bidet, and my child thought there was a baby's toilet next to the toilet when she saw it.
When I first came to the Middle East, I was very curious to see this strange scene... It's a bidet!!
There are a lot of people who don't know because bidet looks quite different from Korea...
 

 
생일이라서 축하 카드와 함께 마카롱을 주었어요.
마카롱 위에는 새 마크가 찍혀 있고 밑에 초콜릿으로 모양을 내었습니다.
가만히 보니... 새가 둥지에 알을 낳아 놓은 모양이네요.
예술적인 감각이 보이는 이 디저트 접시가 너무 멋있습니다. 
 
I gave a macaron with a congratulatory birthday card.
There is a bird mark on the macaron and it is shaped with chocolate underneath.
Looking at it, it looks like the bird laid an egg in the nest.
This dessert plate with an artistic sense is so cool. 

 

 
방안에 물 두병, 커피백, 코코아 파우더, 쿠키가 있습니다. 
이곳에서 3일 지내는데, 물이 부족한거 같아서 더 요청해서 받았습니다. 
개인적으로 캡슐커피를 선호하는데... 커피백이 있어서 개인적으로 아쉬운 부분이었습니다. 
 
There are two bottles of water, coffee bags, cocoa powder, and cookies in the room.
I stayed here for 3 days, but I think there is not enough water, so I asked for more and received it.
Personally, I prefer capsule coffee... It was a bit disappointing because there was a coffee bag.
 

 
밤 되면 도시에 불이 켜지면서 정말 로맨틱한 분위기가 되더라구요.
저는 가족여행으로 왔지만, 두바이로 신혼여행 온다면 이 호텔을 추천합니다. 
두바이에서 전에 묵었던 숙소 '르 로열 메르디앙'은 휴양지 느낌이었다면, 이곳은 도시 느낌 그 자체에요 !!
 
At night, the city lights up and it becomes a really romantic atmosphere.
I'm here for a family trip, but I recommend this hotel if you're going to Dubai for your honeymoon.
The hotel we stayed in in Dubai before, Le Royal Meridian, felt like a vacation spot, but this is the city itself!!
 

 
조식 포함이라 아침 먹으러 가봤습니다. 
참고로 호텔 옆에 KFC, 슈퍼, 카페가 많이 있어서 지내는 동안 편리했어요. 
아시다시피 두바이는 엄청 뜨겁고 더워서 도보로 이동하기가 쉽지 않습니다.
차 없는 여행객이라면 매번 우버 택시를 부를수도 없고... 숙소 근처에 필요한 시설들이 많이 있어서 확실히 편했습니다. 
 
I went to eat breakfast because it includes breakfast.
For your information, there are KFC, supermarkets, and cafes next to the hotel, so it was convenient during my stay.
As you know, Dubai is very hot and hot, so it is not easy to move on foot.
If you're a car-free traveler, you can't call an Uber taxi every time, and there are a lot of necessary facilities near the accommodation, so it was definitely comfortable.
 

 
조식 메뉴를 살펴 볼게요.
유리병에 담긴 요거트 종류가 다섯 가지나 있었구요. 옆에 견과류, 신선한 과일이 있었습니다. 
그리고 빵 코너가 두 군데나 있어요. 전체적으로 빵이 뷔페에서 가장 넓은 공간을 차지하는 메뉴였어요. 
 
Let me take a look at the breakfast menu.
There were five kinds of yogurt in a glass bottle. There were nuts and fresh fruits next to them.
And there are two bread sections. Overall, bread was the most spacious menu in the buffet.
 

 
폴 메담메스 ( 중동 전통요리) 
전에 한번 시도해 봤는데 꼬릿한 냄새나는 콩을 으깬 요리였어요. 
주로 이집트와 수단에서 먹는 인기있는 아침식사라고 라고 합니다. 
 
Pol Medames
It was a dish made from mashed beans that had a pungent smell, which I tried once before.
It is a popular breakfast dish commonly eaten in Egypt and Sudan.
 

 
이건 카레와 비슷한 PAHA 라는 스리랑카 요리. 
파하(Paha)는 주로 코코넛 밀크와 고기, 감자, 당근, 양파 등의 재료로 만들고 향신료로 감초, 카르다몬, 계피 등을 사용하여 맛을 낸다고 합니다. 스리랑카의 여러 가정에서 일상적인 아침 식사로 즐겨 먹는 음식이라네요.
 
This is a Sri Lankan dish called PAHA, similar to curry.
Paha is a Sri Lankan dish typically made with coconut milk and ingredients like meat (usually pork), potatoes, carrots, onions, and spices such as cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon to enhance its flavor. It's commonly enjoyed as a regular breakfast dish in many Sri Lankan households.
 

 
소세지, 계란, 토마토와 치즈, 나시고랭, 감자요리, 버섯볶음, 스크램블, 구운 토마토, 해시브라운, 햄, 시리얼 등이 있었어요.  
 
There were sausages, eggs, tomatoes with cheese, nasi goreng, potato dishes, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, hash browns, ham, cereal, and more.
 

 

 
삶은 계란 코너가 있었구요.
그리고 이것은 아라비안 스타일 피클이래요. 
 

There was also a boiled egg corner.
And this is Arabian-style pickle.
 

 
가지요리와 함께 여러 종류의 치즈가 있어요. (에멘탈, 체다 ) 
특히 에멘탈 치즈가 담백하고 정말 맛있습니다. 
 
There were various types of cheese along with eggplant dishes. (Emmental, Cheddar)
Especially, Emmental cheese is mild and really delicious.
 

 
이 코너는 음식들이 좀 생소했어요.  페타치즈 샐러드, 멕시칸 샐러드 그리고 '후무스' 가 있었습니다.
후무스는 중동지역 매우 인기있는 음식으로 병아리 콩을 으깬 Dip 이에요. 
먹는 법은?! 옆에 있는 야채를 쌈장 찍어 먹듯이 먹는 방법 또는 피타브래드에 밥이랑 함께 롤업해서 먹으니 엄청 맛있어요.약간 병아리콩으로 만든 아보카도 과카몰리 느낌?!!!
멕시칸 음식 혹은 치폴레 먹을 때 과카몰리 추가하는거 좋아하는 분들은 꼭 시도해 보세요. 강추임. 
그밖에 먹는 방법 알아보니까 칩이나 크래커랑 먹어도 되고 샌드위치나 버거에 추가해서 먹거나 샐러드 드레싱으로 활용하다고 합니다. 
 
This corner had some unfamiliar dishes. There were feta cheese salad, Mexican salad, and hummus.
Hummus is a very popular dish in the Middle East made from mashed chickpeas, served as a dip.
How to eat it?! Similar to dipping vegetables in sauce, you eat it like that.
Also, it's really delicious when eaten with rice in pita bread
It feels like a little avocado guacamole made with chickpeas!
People who like to add guacamole when eating Mexican food or Chipotle will love it.
 
 
 

 
와플, 팬케이크, 프렌치토스트와 잼들 그리고 차 종류가 8가지나 있었어요. 
 
There were waffles, pancakes, French toast, various jams, and a selection of 8 different types of tea.
 

 
주스 종류는 오렌지, 수박, 당근, 애플, 바나나 스무디가 있었습니다. 
화덕이 있어서 피자를 직접 구워주더라구요. 피자를 먹어봤는데... 흠... 향이 강했어요. 
 

There were juices like orange, watermelon, carrot, apple, and banana smoothie.
They had a brick oven where they baked pizzas right there. I tried the pizza, but... hmm... the flavor was strong.
 

 
꿀 종류가 이렇게 많아요.
오리지널 꿀, 사프란 허니, 월넛 허니, 피스타치오 허니, 메이플 시럽이 있습니다.
이 중 사프란 허니를 시도해봤어요. 
전통시장 수크를 구경하다가 향신료 상점에서 사프란을 봤었기 때문에 기억에 남았거든요. 
 
There are so many types of honey available:
Original honey, saffron honey, walnut honey, pistachio honey, and maple syrup.
I tried the saffron honey among them.
I remember seeing saffron at a spice shop while exploring a traditional market souk.
 

 
프렌치 토스트 위에 끼얹어 먹어봤는데 향긋하고 괜찮았어요. 
이런 다양한 꿀이 있다는 걸 처음 알았습니다. 
사프란은 세계에서 가장 비싼 향신료로 알려져 있대요.  (그럼 당연히 먹어봐야지 암요...)
홍색의 작은 줄기모양 꽃에서 얻어지는데, 사프란은 그 고유의 향과 색소 때문에 주로 요리에 사용되고 특히 중동과 인도 서부 지역에서 인기가 많다고 하네요. 
 
I tried spreading saffron honey on French toast, and it was fragrant and quite good.
I didn't know there were so many varieties of honey before.
Saffron is known as the most expensive spice in the world.
It is obtained from small thread-like structures in the flowers, and its value is primarily due to its unique aroma and pigment, making it popular in cooking, especially in the Middle East and Western India.
 

 
한국인은 밥을 좋아하니까 나시고랭을 떠 왔는데 와... 평범한 나시고랭이 아니고 이런 나뭇잎 같은 향신료를 넣어놔서 향이 너무 강해요.
맛이 굉장히 시큼한 밥이었어요. 한국인 입맛엔 안 맞는 맛이에요.. 
 
Koreans love rice, so I tried nasi goreng, but wow... it wasn't the usual kind.
They added these leaf-like spices, so the aroma was really strong.
The taste was extremely tangy rice. Not quite suited to Korean tastes...
 

 
여긴 빵이 맛있는데 그 중 특히 크로아상이 맛있어요. 
이 호텔 아침 메뉴 중 크로아상이 일등이네요. 제일 맛있음!!! 
크로아상 종류도 여러가지가 있었습니다. 
 
The bread here is delicious, especially the croissants are really tasty.
Among the hotel breakfast menu, croissants are the best. Absolutely delicious!
There were also various types of croissants available.
 

 
사실 중동여행 가면?! 조식이 한국인 입맛엔 잘 안 맞는 걸로 유명하죠.
중동 지역 뷔페에서 한국인에겐 별로 먹을 게 없는 느낌...
 
Actually, when you travel to the Middle East?! Breakfasts are famous for not quite suiting Korean tastes.
In Middle Eastern buffets, it can feel like there's not much for Koreans to eat...
 

 
이 호텔은 크로아상이 너무 맛있어서~ 둘째 세쨋날에도 이것만 집중 공략 했어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
참고로 아이스 아메리카노는 꼭 시키세요 !!!
왜냐면 방에서 커피 한잔 마시려고 얼음을 문의했는데 15 디르함 내야 된대요. 
그래서 방에서 커피 안 마시고, 아이스 아메리카노는 조식에서 해결했습니다. 
 
This hotel's croissants were so delicious that I just focused on them ㅋㅋㅋ
By the way, make sure to order an iced Americano!!!
Because when I asked for ice for coffee in the room, they said it would cost 15 dirhams.
So I skipped coffee in the room and solved it with iced Americano at breakfast.

 

 
그리고 요일마다 달라지는 메인 메뉴를 시켜봤어요. (무료 )
첫날은 몰라서 못 시켰고 ㅜㅜ 두번째날은 에그인헬, 아보카도 계란 샌드위치를 시켰구요.
세번째 날은 연어 샌드위치와 스테이크 주문했어요.
그 중 스테이크가 가장 맛있고 만족도가 컸습니다. 
 

And I tried the main dishes that change every day of the week (for free).
I missed ordering on the first day, unfortunately ㅜㅜ
On the second day, I ordered Eggs Benedict, an avocado egg sandwich.
On the third day, I ordered a salmon sandwich and steak.
Among them, the steak was the most delicious and satisfying.
 

 
밥 먹고 7층 수영장으로 가봤어요.
호텔 엘리베이터가 높은 층 가는 곳과 비교적 낮은 층 가는 곳으로 나뉘어져 있는데, 방에서 1층으로 내려와서 엘리베이터를 갈아타고 갔어요.
수영장은 사실상 호텔 옆 건물에 있다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 
7층에 스파샵, 헬스장, 수영장이 다함께 있어요. 
 
After eating, I went to the 7th-floor swimming pool.
The hotel elevator separates floors going to higher and relatively lower levels.
I went down from my room to the 1st floor and then transferred to another elevator to reach the pool.
Actually, you can think of the pool as being in the adjacent building to the hotel.
On the 7th floor, there's a spa shop, gym, and swimming pool all together.
 

 
헬스장 시설은 깨끗하면서 괜찮았고 입구에 수영복 파는 작은 상점이 있었어요. 
 
The gym facilities were clean and quite nice, and there was a small shop at the entrance selling swimwear.
 

 
수영장 앞은 건물을 짓고 있어서 공사장 뷰네요 ;;; 
호텔 수영장 이용해보니 수심이 낮은 유아풀이 있어, 유아동반 여행객들이 많은 곳이었어요. 

 
In front of the swimming pool, there's construction going on, so the view is of a construction site ;;;
When I used the hotel pool, I noticed there's a shallow kiddie pool, which is popular among families traveling with young children.
