이번에는 두바이 알 자다프 메리어트 호텔 이용한 경험을 기록합니다.

 

Snowman Hotel Review.

This time, I'll be sharing my experience staying at the Al Jaddaf Marriott Hotel in Dubai. 

 

 

두바이 메리어트 알자다프 호텔은 로비에서부터 고급스러움이 느껴지는 호텔이었어요.

나중에 현지 가이드에게 들은 정보로는 두바이에 이 곳보다 훨씬 고급스러운 호텔이 엄청 많다고 합니다. 

키 받고 방으로 이동해볼게요.

The Dubai Marriott Al Jaddaf Hotel exudes luxury right from the lobby.

Later, I heard from a local guide that there are many hotels in Dubai much more luxurious than this one.

Now, I'll pick up the key and head to my room.

 

 

객실 방 인테리어는 이렇게 생겼구요.방이 깔끔하고 모든 컨디션이  좋았어요.
방 안에 무료 물 4병 있습니다..

The interior of the guest room looked like this, and it was neat with everything in good condition. There were four complimentary bottles of water in the room.

 

 

두바이 알 자다프 메리어트 호텔은 버즈칼리파 뷰 를 볼 수 있는 호텔이에요.
두바이 하면 떠오르는 '버즈칼리파(부르즈 할리파)' 는 두바이 랜드마크이자 세계에서 가장 높은 건물이죠.

버즈칼리파라고도 부르는데 인터넷 검색해보면 부르즈할리파가 정식 명칭이에요.
아침에 일어나서 커튼 열어보니 두바이 온 느낌을 확실히 느낄 수 있어요.

 

The Dubai Marriott Al Jaddaf Hotel offers views of the Burj Khalifa, one of Dubai's most famous landmarks and the tallest building in the world.

Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains, you can truly feel the essence of Dubai.

 

 

화장실도 엄청 좋아요.
침대에서 화장실이 훤히 보이는 구조인데 전동 블라인드가 있어서 손쉽게 가릴 수 있어요.

The bathroom is also amazing. The layout allows you to see the bathroom clearly from the bed, but there are motorized blinds, making it easy to cover when needed.

 

 

공간 분리된 화장실을 열어보니 그림도 걸어놓고 세심하게 인테리어에 신경썻어요.

변기 옆에는 이거 뭐지?! 처음에 저거 보고 뭔지 한참 고민했는데 유럽식 비데에요.

한국에는 비데가 변기에 일체형으로 되어 있는데 이곳 비데는 변기위에 수도꼭지가 달려 있는 모습이네요. 

분명히 이거보고 뭔지 헷갈리는 사람 있을텐데 저건 비데라고 합니다.

 

When I opened the separate toilet area, I noticed that they paid attention to detail in the interior design, even hanging up pictures.

Next to the toilet, there was something... What is it?! At first, I was puzzled by it for a while, but it turns out to be a bidet, European style. In Korea, bidets are typically integrated into the toilet, but here, it's a separate fixture with a faucet on top of the toilet. It might confuse some people at first glance, but yes, it's a bidet.

 

 

욕조가 깊어서 반신욕 할 때 정말 좋았어요. 저는 호텔이나 리조트 이용할 때 욕조가 예쁘면 꼭 반신욕 해요.
샤워할때 샤워실 문이 없어서 화장실 바닥이 물로 흥건해져요ㅡ 물기때문에 미끄러우니 완전 조심해야함ㅡ 그래서 바닥에 항상 발수건 깔고 지냈어요. 어메니티는 샴푸, 린스, 바디로션, 바디샤워, 비누, 칫솔 다 있었어요. 

 

The deep bathtub was really nice for taking a relaxing bath. Whenever I stay at a hotel or resort with a beautiful bathtub, I always make sure to take a bath.

There wasn't a door in the shower area, so the bathroom floor would get wet during showers. It was slippery due to the water, so I had to be extremely careful. That's why I always laid a bath mat on the floor. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash, soap, and toothbrush.

 

 

방안에 미니냉장고 있고 슬리퍼도 있어요.
해외 호텔이용할때마다 여행용 가방 올려두는 이 도구 ( 여행용 가방 스탠드 ) 보통 천 끈으로 되어 있는데 이것은 가죽으로 되어 있어서 비싸보였어요. 

 

The room also had a mini-fridge, and there were slippers provided as well. There was this tool for placing travel bags, It's usually made of fabric straps, but this one was made of leather, so it looked expensive.

 

 

그리고 티비 아래 서랍장 열면 드라이기랑 카페트가 있었어요. 펼쳐보니 블루, 화이트, 골드 조합 카페트 문양이 예뻤어요.
카페트를 어떤 용도로 쓰라고 준비해놓은 걸까요. 

And under the TV, there was a drawer where I found a hairdryer and a carpet. Upon unfolding it, I found that the carpet had a beautiful pattern with a combination of blue, white, and gold.

I wonder what the carpet was prepared for and what it could be used for.

 

 

여기 수영장 뷰가 좋다고 해서 가봤어요.  위치는 8층입니다. 

 

I went to check out the pool view here since it's said to be nice. The location is on the 8th floor.

 

 

수영장에서 두바이 도시를 한눈에 볼 수 있었어요.

모래바람이 부는 날에는 시야가 좋지 않다는데 오늘은 그나마 날씨가 좋은 편이네요.
수영복 꼭 챙기세요. 두바이에서 인생사진 남길 수 있는 장소라고 생각합니다.
한마디로 '나 지금 두바이다' 알 수있는 사진!

I could see the entire city of Dubai at a glance from the swimming pool.

It's said that on windy days, the view isn't as good, but today, the weather is relatively nice. Make sure to bring your swimsuit. I think it's a place where you can capture unforgettable moments in Dubai, a spot where you can take a photo and say, 'I'm in Dubai right now!

 

 

보통 모래바람부는 날씨에도 수영장에서 저 멀리 앞이 보이긴 보여요. 

Usually, even when there's a sandstorm, you can still see far ahead in the swimming pool.

 

 

수영장에서 한층 아래로 내려오면 7층 헬스장 있어요.

시설 컨디션이 아주 좋고 넓어요. 

두바이 메리어트 알자다프 호텔에 온다면, 미리 운동복이랑 수영복 잊지 않고 챙겨서 호텔시설 이용하세요.

저는 수영복 안챙겨와서 두바이몰가서 수영복 샀어요. 

 

If you go down one floor at the swimming pool, there's a gym on the 7th floor.

The facilities are in very good condition and spacious.

If you come to the Dubai Marriott Al Jaddaf Hotel, make sure to bring your workout clothes and swimsuit in advance to utilize the hotel facilities.

I didn't bring my swimsuit, so I bought one at the Dubai Mall.

 

 

 

헬스장 앞에서 어떤 모델이 사진 촬용중이었는데 두바이에서 유명한 사람인 것 같애요.  

그런데 옆에 물이 졸졸졸 흐르고 있었어요. 모델 잠깐 구경하다가 하마터면 발이 빠질 뻔 했네요. 

이 호텔에서는 (조식 레스토랑과 헬스장 등) '물을 활용한 인테리어'가 눈에 띄었어요.

두바이가 사막에 위치한 도시고 물이 귀한 곳이라, 이런 인테리어가 고급스럽다고 생각해서 좋아하나봐요.

그러고보니 두바이에서 쇼핑몰 어딜가든 '물을 이용한 인테리어' 를 자주 볼 수 있었는데, 그 이유가 뜨거운 기후를 고려해서 더위를 식히고 시원함을 느끼게 해주기 때문인 것 같애요. 

I saw a famous-looking model taking photos in front of the gym.

By the way, I stopped to watch the model for a moment and I nearly slipped and almost fell into the water.

At this hotel, the use of water in interior design, such as in the breakfast restaurant and gym, caught my eye. I guess people in Dubai appreciate such designs because water is scarce in this desert city, so they find water-themed interiors luxurious.

Come to think of it, wherever you go in Dubai, you often see 'water-themed interiors' in shopping malls. I think it's because they want to provide a cool and refreshing environment, considering the hot climate.

 

여기는 헬스장 안에 마련된 운동실인데 아늑하게 방으로 꾸며져 있었고 상주하고 있는 트레이너랑 개인 피티 받는다고 합니다.

Here is a gym located within the hotel, and it's cozy, furnished like a room. They have a resident trainer available for personal training sessions.

 

아침 조식 먹을때 아라비안 커피 주전자가 예뻐서 찍어봤어요. 뭔가 알라딘 생각나고 중동스러운 아름다움이 느껴지네요. 
아라비안 커피를 마실때는 전통적으로 손잡이 없는 잔에 따라서 마십니다.

이런 컵을 보통 '달라 دلة (dallah) ' 또는 '핀잔 فنجان (finjan) '  이라고 하는데요. 

아랍인들 사이에서 커피를 마실 때 한손으로 컵을 들고 다른 손으로 컵의 밑부분을 받쳐서 마시는 방식입니다.

 

I took a picture of the Arabian coffee pot during breakfast because it looked beautiful. It reminded me of Aladdin and evoked a Middle Eastern charm. When drinking Arabian coffee, it is traditionally poured into cups without handles.

Such cups are typically called 'dallah' or 'finjan' among Arabs. Among Arabs, when drinking coffee, it is customary to hold the cup with one hand and support the bottom of the cup with the other hand while drinking.

 

옆 상자에는 대추야자 있었는데 저 왕대추 진짜 맛있어요.

주로 중동지역에서 재배되는 대추인데 맛은 달콤하고 부드러운 질감에 즙이 풍부하다고 생각하면 될거에요. 

한 10년전 쯤 '버즈알아랍 호텔투어'가서 왕대추(대추야자) 처음먹어보고 너무 맛있어서 놀랐던 기억이 있는데, 조식에 저 대추있길래 반가움에 먹어봤어요. 

한국에서는 대추야자라고 많이 부르는데 정식 명칭은 메종니 메지라고 합니다. 

 

In the box next to me, there were Medjool dates, and they are really delicious.

You can think of "Medjool dates" as large, sweet fruits with a rich and juicy texture, primarily cultivated in the Middle East region.

About ten years ago, during a "Buzz Arab Hotel Tour," I tried Medjool dates for the first time and was amazed by how tasty they were. So, when I saw them for breakfast, I was delighted and tried some.

 

 

내 핸드폰에서 발견된 고대유물같은 ㅋㅋ 버즈알아랍(부르즈 알 아랍)사진 ㅎ ㄷ ㄷ 

호텔 투어가면 입구에서 직원이 서 있다가, 이 대추야자를 _마치 웰컴드링크처럼_ 집게로 하나씩 나눠줬었어요. 
버즈알아랍 호텔 투어는 들어가서 호텔 내부가 어떻게 생겼는지 한바퀴 둘러보고, 꼭대기 올라가서 뷰 한번 내려다보고, 다시 로비로 내려와서 음료한잔 마시고 나가는 코스였습니다.

 

The photos of Buzz Arab (Burj Al Arab) I found on my phone are like ancient relics, haha.

When you go on a hotel tour, at the entrance, the staff stands there and distributes these Medjool dates almost like a welcome drink, one by one, using tongs. 

The Buzz Arab (Burj Al Arab) hotel tour typically involves taking a stroll around the interior of the hotel to see how it's structured, heading up to the top to admire the view, and then returning to the lobby for a drink before leaving.

 

 

그리고 두바이몰에 분수도 볼 겸 대추야자 사러 갔어요. 두바이 여행 중 선물용으로 아주 좋은 아이템이에요.  
대추가 맛있으면 얼마나 맛있겠어? 생각할 수 있지만 마치 우리나라 곶감 먹는 기분처럼 달고 맛있습니다.
금가루가 뿌려진 대추야자 부모님께 선물했는데 아주 좋아하셨어요. 

 

I also went to Dubai Mall to see the fountain and buy some Medjool dates. It's a great item for gifts during a trip to Dubai. You can imagine how delicious they are, but they're as sweet and tasty as Korean dried persimmons. I gave my parents Medjool dates with gold dust sprinkled on them, and they loved them.
