오늘은 호주 브리즈번에 있는 '더 존슨 호텔' 에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.
Hello, this is Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I am writing about my experience at 'The Johnson Hotel' in Brisbane, Australia.
더 존슨 호텔은 언덕 위에 있어요..
그래서 시내에서 호텔로 갈 때, 언덕길이랑 계단을 좀 올라가야 합니다.
구글 맵 참고해서 버스타고 갈 수 있습니다.
The Johnson Hotel is situated on a hill.
Therefore, when going to the hotel from downtown, you need to walk up some hilly roads and stairs.
You can take a bus by referring to Google Maps.
이 곳은 아트시리즈 호텔이라 현대적으로 감각적인 호텔처럼 보였습니다.
맨 처음 도착하자마자 입구에 있는 큰 예술작품이 눈에 띄었습니다.
This place is an Art Series Hotel, so it has a modern and stylish appearance.
The first thing that caught my eye upon arrival was the large artwork at the entrance.
로비는 이렇게 생겼고 넓고 쾌적합니다.
곳곳에 색감으로 포인트를 준 감각적인 인테리어를 느낄 수 있었습니다.
그림작품이 많이 걸려있네요.
The lobby looks like this: it's spacious and comfortable.
You can feel the stylish interior design highlighted by colorful accents throughout. There are many paintings hanging on the walls.
호텔 로비가 4층인데, 로비보다 아랫층 방 받으면 이런 주차장이 나옵니다;;;
뭐야 지하 방인건가....
The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor, but if you get a room on a lower floor, you end up facing something like this parking lot;;; Is it like a basement room or something?
방키를 대야 문이 열려서 객실 복도로 들어갈 수 있습니다.
아무래도 주차장과 방 복도가 바로 연결되어 있다보니 나름 안전상 이렇게 했나 봅니다.
You need to use your room key to open the door and enter the guest room corridor.
Since the parking lot is directly connected to the room corridors, it seems they've done this for safety reasons.
방에 들어왔는데 지하가 아니었어요!!
호텔이 언덕위에 있어서 이런 구조가 생겼나 봅니다.
로비층(4층)보다 낮은층( 1,2,3층 ) 배정받아 내려갔는데 지하가 아니에요. 채광도 좋고 햇빛도 잘 들어옵니다.
방 인테리어도 톡톡 튀는 컬러로 포인트를 주었네요.
When I entered the room, it wasn’t actually a basement!
It seems that the hotel's location on the hill created this layout. Although I was assigned a lower floor (1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor) instead of the lobby level (4th floor), it wasn’t underground. The room had good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The interior design of the room also featured vibrant colors for a stylish touch.\
나름 나갈 수 있는 테라스도 있습니다.
그런데 테라스 앞은 주차장 뷰에요..
이 순간 테라스 앞이 주차장이 아닌 바다였으면 좋겠다고 상상했습니다. ㅋㅋ
The room also has a terrace you can access.
However, the view from the terrace is of the parking lot...
At that moment, I imagined how great it would be if the view were of the sea instead of the parking lot. Haha!
방 크기가 넓고 쾌적합니다. 지내보니 천장이 높아서 더 넓어보이는 느낌이에요.
방안에 물감이랑 캔버스가 놓여있더라구요. ( 유료)
호텔 이용하면서 그림 그리라고 물감이랑 캔버스 있는거 처음 봅니다.
예술적인 호텔이라 영감 받아서 왠지 그림 막 그리고 싶어지게 하는 곳이네요.
컨셉 하나 확실한 곳입니다.
The room is spacious and comfortable. It feels even larger due to the high ceiling.
Inside the room, there are paints and a canvas available (for a fee). It's the first time I've seen such an option at a hotel, encouraging guests to create art.
Being an artistic hotel, it definitely inspires you to pick up a brush and start painting. It’s a place with a strong and clear concept.
화장실 세면대가 두개인 것이 장점입니다.
가족여행하다보니 세면대를 각자 사용하는게 편하다는 걸 깨달았습니다.
화장실 창문으로 자연채광을 느낄 수 있어서 그 환한 느낌이 좋았어요.
One of the advantages is the double sinks in the bathroom.
Traveling with family, I realized how convenient it is to have separate sinks for each person.
The natural light coming through the bathroom window adds a bright and pleasant feel to the space.
화장실은 샤워실, 변기, 세면대가 분리된 구조였습니다.
The bathroom features a separated layout with the shower, toilet, and sink each in their own designated areas.
방안에 무료 물이 있는데 병이 참 예뻤어요.
흔히 보던 플라스틱 생수병이 아니라서 꼼꼼히 살펴보니 메이드인 프랑스 이네요.
The room provided complimentary water, and the bottle was quite beautiful.
It wasn't the usual plastic water bottle, so I took a closer look and found that it was made in France.
무료 네스프레소 커피 캡슐, 티백, 쿠키가 있습니다.
네스프레소 머신이 있어서 방안에서 쿠키와 함께 커피타임을 즐길 수 있어요.
그리고 전자레인지, 싱크대, 냉장고, 설거지용 주방 세제와 수세미가 있어서 나름 장기투숙해도 문제 없어 보였어요.
The room includes complimentary Nespresso coffee capsules, tea bags, and cookies. With the Nespresso machine available, you can enjoy a coffee time with cookies right in your room.
Additionally, there’s a microwave, a sink, a refrigerator, and dishwashing detergent with a sponge, which makes it seem well-equipped for longer stays.
밖에 나가려고 보니 방문에 이런 재미요소를 발견할 수 있었습니다. ㅋㅋ
페인트 흐르는 모습을 표현해 놓았네요. 더 존슨 호텔은 예술과 디자인에 진심인 듯.
As I was about to leave, I discovered a fun detail on the door. Haha!
It features a design that depicts paint flowing. It seems that The Johnson Hotel is truly dedicated to art and design.
호텔 수영장은 5층에 있어요.
수영하려고 가봤는데 역대급 긴~~~ 수영장이었습니다.
이렇게 긴 수영장을 본 적이 없어요. 수영하다가 힘들어서 중간에 한번 쉬어야했습니다.
The hotel pool is located on the 5th floor.
When I went to swim, I encountered the longest pool I've ever seen. I've never seen such a long pool before. I had to take a break in the middle because it was quite a workout.
수영장 옆에는 헬스장도 있는데 운동하면서 시원한 수영장 뷰를 볼 수 있어요.
Next to the pool, there’s a gym where you can enjoy a refreshing view of the pool while working out.
