오늘은 보스턴에서 장기체류하기 좋은 "레지던스 인 메리어트 워터타운" 을 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.
Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I'm sharing my experience staying at the "Residence Inn by Marriott Watertown," a great place for long-term stays in Boston.
레지던스 인 메리어트 워터타운 외관은 이렇게 생겼구요.
보스턴에서 레지던스 인 메리어트가 여러군데 있는데 워터타운 지점은 위치가 좋아요.
전에 포스팅한 레지던스 인 바이 메리어트 월섬 보다 훨씬 좋음!!
The exterior of the Residence Inn by Marriott Watertown looks like this.
There are several Residence Inn by Marriott locations in Boston, but the Watertown branch has a great location. It's much better than the one I posted about previously, the Residence Inn by Marriott Waltham!
위치가 좋다는건 숙소 바로 앞에 타겟 슈퍼, 영화관, 큰 쇼핑몰 (워터타운 몰, 아스널 야즈 쇼핑몰) 이 있기 때문이에요.
쇼핑몰 안에 쉑쉑 버거 등 맛집이 많이 있어서 지내는 동안 편리했음.
The reason for its great location is that right in front of the hotel, there's Target, a movie theater, and big shopping malls like Watertown Mall and Arsenal Yards Shopping Mall.
Inside these malls, there are plenty of great eateries like Shake Shack, making it very convenient during your stay.
이곳은 보스턴에서 장기체류 할 때 내 집처럼 드나들게 될 로비에요.
호텔의 첫인상은 로비가 결정하는데~ 넓고 쾌적했으며 산뜻한 컬러감의 인테리어가 밝은 느낌을 주었어요.
레지던스 메리어트 월섬처럼 이곳도 아침 조식이 무료입니다.
This lobby will become your go-to spot, feeling like your own home when you're on a long-term stay in Boston. The first impression of a hotel often depends on its lobby, and this one was spacious and pleasant, with a fresh color scheme in the interior that gave off a bright feeling.
Just like Residence Inn by Marriott Waltham, breakfast is complimentary here too.
호텔 방안에 들어오자마자 넓은 주방이 보입니다.
식기세척기, 식기류, 전자레인지, 큰 냉장고, 커피머신, 인덕션 등 완비되어 있어서 주방에서 요리를 해 먹을 수 있어요.
냉장고가 커서 식재료 사다가 보관하기에 공간이 충분했어요.
As soon as you enter the hotel room, you'll notice a spacious kitchen area.
It's fully equipped with a dishwasher, kitchenware, microwave, large refrigerator, coffee machine, and an induction cooktop, allowing you to cook meals in the kitchen. The large fridge provides ample space for storing groceries, making it very convenient.
그리고 침대, 책상, 티비가 있어요. 레지던스 방 공간이 좁지 않아서 장기체류하는 동안 지낼만 했어요.
침대는 호텔 침구의 정석인 깔끔한 화이트라서 마음에 들었어요.
There's also a bed, a desk, and a TV in the room. The Residence Inn rooms are spacious enough for a comfortable long-term stay.
The bed features the classic clean white bedding typical of hotel rooms, which I found quite appealing.
욕조있는 화장실이에요.
그림 작품을 방안, 화장실 등 곳곳에 걸어두고 인테리어에 신경 쓴 느낌이었어요.
어메니티는 대용량으로 샴푸, 린스, 바디샤워 젤이 있었어요.
The bathroom features a bathtub.
The interior design includes artwork placed throughout the room, including the bathroom, giving a thoughtful touch to the decor.
The amenities provided include large-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, offering convenience during your stay.
호텔 수영장 와봤는데 시설이 괜찮아 보이고 깨끗했어요.
보스턴 레지던스 인 메리어트 워터타운은 3성급으로 되어있는데 실제로 와보니 훨씬 더 좋은 느낌이에요.
제가 느끼기엔 3성급 이상 느낌입니다.
사실 전세계 호텔 이용해보면 3성? 4성? 개인 체감상 안 맞는 곳도 많더라구요.
얼마전 다녀온 스위스 인터라켄 호텔하더미네르바도 같은 3성급이였는데.....퀄리티 차이 무엇인가!!!
눈사람호텔리뷰가 몇성급 다 정리해보고 싶은 느낌이 들었어요.
The hotel's swimming pool facilities looked good and well-maintained.
Although Residence Inn by Marriott Watertown in Boston is classified as a 3-star hotel, it feels much nicer in reality.
In my opinion, it feels more like a hotel of a higher star rating.
In my experience, star ratings can sometimes be misleading. I've stayed at hotels around the world with a 3-star or 4-star rating that didn't quite match up to my expectations.
For example, the Swiss Interlaken Hotel Harder Minerva, which I recently visited, was also rated as a 3-star hotel... but there was a significant difference in quality!
