오늘은 그린델발트 피르스트에 있는 호텔 레스토랑에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.
 
Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I'm writing about my experience dining at the hotel restaurant in Grindelwald First.
 

 
그린델발트 피르스트 산꼭대기에 있는 호텔명은 Berggasthaus First ( 베르가르타스 퍼스트) 입니다.  
이곳에서 스위스음식 뢰스티를 먹었던 솔직한 경험과 후기를 전합니다.

The hotel located at the mountaintop of Grindelwald First is called Berggasthaus First.
Here is my honest experience and review of dining here and trying Swiss dish, Rösti.
 

 
전에 포스팅한 융프라우 로지 스위스 마운틴 호텔에서~  피르스트 케이블카 타는 곳까지 걸어갔어요.
스위스패스 있으면 버스 무료이지만, 스위스 자연 풍경 보면서 가려고 일부러 슬슬 걸어갔어요.
걷다가 만난  크로이츠 포스트 호텔. 그린델발트 기차역 내리자마자 바로 보이는 호텔이에요.
1층에는 레스토랑과 스낵바가 있고 스낵바 앞에 야외 테이블 2개가 놓여 있었습니다.
참고로 크로이츠 포스트 호텔 레스토랑은 꼬르동블루 맛집이에요ㅡ 3월에 이곳에 왔었는데 다시 보니 반가웠습니다.

I walked from the Jungfrau Lodge Swiss Mountain Hotel to the starting point of the First cable car.
Although the bus is free with the Swiss Pass, I chose to walk slowly, enjoying the Swiss natural scenery along the way.
During the stroll, I came across the Hotel Kreuz & Post. It's located right after you get off at the Grindelwald train station, making it easily visible.
On the ground floor, there is a restaurant and a snack bar, and there were two outdoor tables in front of the snack bar.
Just a heads up, the restaurant at Hotel Kreuz & Post is famous for its Cordon Bleu. I visited here in March, so it was nice to see it again.

스낵바 야외 테이블에 앉아 아이스크림을 사 먹었어요.
이 멋진 스위스 자연 풍경을 보며 아이스크림을 먹으니 이만한 행복이 없어요~~ 눈과 입이 즐거운 시간~
흔히 슈퍼에서 파는 레디메이드 제품인데 싸진 않아요... 우리나라 스크류바 아이스크림과 비슷한데 가격은 3배 정도 비쌌습니다. 그저 날씨 좋고 그린델발트 풍경이 멋져서 그만한 가치가 있는 경험이었어요. 
 

I sat at one of the outdoor tables at the snack bar and enjoyed some ice cream.
Eating ice cream while gazing at the stunning Swiss natural scenery was pure bliss! It was a delightful moment for both my eyes and taste buds.
Although it's a commonly available ready-made product, it's not cheap... It's similar to the screw-bar ice cream you find in Korea, but it was about three times the price. However, the experience was worth it, thanks to the beautiful weather and the breathtaking scenery of Grindelwald.
 

 
걷다가 마주한 스위스 놀이터!!  바닥에 나무조각이 깔린 친환경 놀이터였어요.
대자연 속에서 뛰어노는 스위스 그린델발트 놀이터 클래스 ㅎ ㄷ ㄷ

During my walk, I stumbled upon a Swiss playground! It was an eco-friendly playground with a floor made of wood chips.
It felt like a Swiss playground class amidst the great outdoors, with kids jumping and playing freely.
 

 
이건 뱅글뱅글 도는 어린이 기구인데, 나무 조각품 퀄리티에 한번 더 놀랐습니다.
스위스는 놀이터조차 멋지네요....

Even the merry-go-round, a spinning children's ride, was made with such high-quality wood craftsmanship that it surprised me once again.
Switzerland never fails to impress, even with its playgrounds.
 

아이와 스위스로 여행을 간다면 놀이터에 꼭 가보세요.
( 내가 해외여행 와서 놀이터에 관심을 가질 줄이야... 전에는 전혀 상상할 수 없었던 내 모습 ㅋ )
이 곳은 인터라켄에서 아이가 뛰놀았던 놀이터에요.
 

If you're traveling to Switzerland with kids, make sure to visit the playgrounds.
(It's funny how traveling abroad has made me interested in playgrounds... It's something I never would have imagined before, haha!)
This particular playground was where my child had a blast in Interlaken.

 

 
그린델발트에서 '피르스트'에 가기위해 케이블카를 탔어요.
스위스패스 있으면 50퍼센트 할인 가능해요!!
스위스의 멋진 풍경을 보면서 케이블카 타고 올라가는데 와~~ 꽤 무서워요.
케이블카 높이가 엄청 높고  중간에 잠깐 멈췄는데 그 기다림이 무섭더라구요 ㅜㅜㅠㅠ
올라가다보면 옆에서  익스트림 스포츠하는 사람들 보는 재미도 있었습니다.
막 그네 타고 내려오던가 (피르스트 플라이어) 독수리도 타고 (피르스트 글라이더) 내려오네요 ㅋㅋㅋ

I took the cable car from Grindelwald to 'First.' With the Swiss Pass, you can get a 50% discount!
It's quite scary riding the cable car up while enjoying the breathtaking Swiss scenery. The cable car is so high up, and it stopped briefly halfway, which was quite nerve-wracking.
But as you ascend, it's amusing to see people doing extreme sports nearby.
Some were even paragliding or riding eagles down, haha.
 

 
피르스트 도착했어요.
사방이 눈 덮힌 산으로 둘러쌓인 호텔 레스토랑의 전경이 진짜 끝내줍니다!!!

I've arrived at First.
The view of the hotel restaurant surrounded by snow-covered mountains is absolutely stunning!
 

 
이곳에서 스위스음식 '뢰스티'를 시켜봤어요.
잘게 썬 감자를 부침개처럼 만들어놓고 위에 계란이랑 파마산 치즈를 올린 요리였는데... 솔직히 퍽퍽하고 맛 없었어요.
심지어 가격도 비쌉니다. (7만원)
호텔 레스토랑 실내도 있는데 이곳은 서버에게 서비스를 받는 곳이였고, 야외 테이블은 사람들이 자유롭게 이용하는 분위기였어요. 음식을 들어가서 주문하고 내가 직접 받아오는 시스템입니다.
피르스트 호텔 레스토랑에서 따뜻한 커피 한잔 시켜먹는게 가장 베스트인것 같아요. 카페 용도로 이용하세요~
아니면 피르스트 올라오기 전에 Coop 슈퍼가 있는데 미리 먹을 음식 사와서 여기 앉아서 먹는게 가장 좋아요.

 
I tried the Swiss dish Rösti here. It's essentially thinly grated potatoes pan-fried like a pancake, topped with egg and Parmesan cheese. Honestly, it was quite tough and tasteless.
Moreover, it was expensive (70,000 won).
While there's indoor seating at the hotel restaurant, this place was more casual, where you order at the counter and pick up your food yourself. It has a vibe where people freely move around.
I'd say the best thing to do here is to grab a warm coffee at the First hotel restaurant. It's better suited as a café spot.
Alternatively, before heading up to First, there's a Coop supermarket where you can buy food to enjoy here. That might be the best option.

 
음식이 맛이 없어도.... 가격이 비싸도.... 이 스위스 풍경 하나만으로 모든걸 만족하고 돌아왔던 피르스트 호텔 레스토랑 후기였습니다.  다시 보니 나 이때 행복했었네..
 
Even though the food wasn't great and the prices were high, your review of the First hotel restaurant emphasizes how the Swiss scenery alone made everything worthwhile. Looking back, it seems you were truly happy at that moment.
