보스턴에서 가볼만한 곳!! 미국 동부의 라스베가스 [보스턴 앙코르 하버] 호텔 다녀왔습니다.

안녕하세요. 눈사람호텔리뷰 입니다. 

제가 이번에는 미국 보스턴에 왔는데요. 
동부의 라스베가스 라고 불리는 "앙코르 보스턴 하버 " 에 왔습니다. 
 
Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
This time, I'm in Boston, USA.
I've arrived at "Encore Boston Harbor," known as the Las Vegas of the East.
 

 
앙코르 보스턴 하버는 보스턴에서 카지노가 있는 유일한 호텔이래요.
제가 한번 들어가보겠습니다. 
 
Encore Boston Harbor is the only hotel in Boston with a casino.
Let me take a look.
 

 
들어오자마자 우와... 탄성을 자아내는 호텔 로비였어요.  
이렇게 화려한 호텔 로비를 보니까 정말 라스베가스에 온 것 같은 느낌이 들었습니다. 
전에 라스베가스 갔을 때 호텔 투어를 했는데요~ 특히 Wynn 리조트와 느낌이 비슷해요. 
알고보니 앙코르와 윈 리조트는 서로 같은 계열 호텔이라고 합니다. 
 
As soon as I entered, I was like, "Wow..." The hotel lobby was breathtaking.
Seeing such a splendid hotel lobby, I felt like I was truly in Las Vegas.
I took a hotel tour when I was in Las Vegas before, and it felt particularly similar to the Wynn Resort.
I found out that Encore and Wynn Resorts are part of the same hotel chain.
 

 
로비에서 2층으로 가는 에스컬레이터입니다. 
보통 에스컬레이터는 직선형이잖아요 ?!
이렇게 곡선형 에스컬레이터는 전세계적으로도 드물고 무엇보다 설치와 유지비용이 비싸다고 하네요. 
 
This is the escalator from the lobby to the second floor.
Usually, escalators are straight, right?!
Curved escalators like this are rare worldwide, and more than anything, they're expensive to install and maintain.
 

 
2층에는 이탈리안 레스토랑 GIARDINO 가 있는데 정원같은 느낌이 고급스럽고 예쁘더라구요.
곡선형 에스컬레이터를 직접 타봤어요.
엄청 스므스하고 부드럽게 앞으로 잘 나아갑니다. 
 
On the second floor is the Italian restaurant GIARDINO, which has a luxurious, garden-like feel and is beautiful.
I rode the curved escalator myself.
It's incredibly smooth and moves smoothly forward.
 

 
객실 체크인하는 공간이 정말 멋지죠. 
호텔 컨시어지조차 정말 세련미가 넘쳤습니다.  

앙코르 보스턴 하버 호텔의 컨셉은 한마디로 럭셔리 그 자체 에요.

엘리베이터까지 황금빛어서 더 그렇게 느껴졌던 것 같애요.  
 
The check-in area is truly stunning.
Even the hotel concierge was incredibly sophisticated.
The concept of the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel is, in a word, the epitome of luxury.
Even the elevators are gold, which makes it feel even more so.
 

 
엘리베이터에서 내리자마자 보이는 뷰가 이 정도 입니다. 
와... 복도에서 바라본 뷰가 이렇게 멋진데 방은 어떨지 정말 기대가 됩니다. 
방으로 한번 가 볼께요. 
 
This is the view you get as soon as you get off the elevator.
Wow... The view from the hallway is so stunning, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the room is like.

들어오자마자 첫인상은.. 라스베가스 트럼프 호텔과 비슷하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 
호텔 로비는 굉장히 화려한 거에 비해, 방은 베이지톤 편안한 분위기로 꾸며져 있어 인상적이었어요.
 
My first impression upon entering was... it felt similar to the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.
Compared to the extravagant lobby, the rooms were impressively decorated in beige tones with a comfortable atmosphere.
 

 
커튼도 청순하면서 너무 예뻤어요.
자동형 커튼이었는데 열림 버튼을 누르면 끝내주는 미스틱강 뷰가 눈앞에 펼쳐집니다. 
압도적인 리버뷰 덕분에 이곳에서 호캉스 하는 동안 정말 행복했던 시간이었어요. 
 
The curtains were so fresh and beautiful.
They were automatic curtains, and when you press the open button, a breathtaking view of the Mystic River unfolds before your eyes.
Thanks to the overwhelming river view, my staycation here was truly blissful.
 

 
 
특히 노을지는 풍경과 반짝반짝한 야경이 장관을 이룹니다. 
The sunset and sparkling night view are especially spectacular.
 

화장실 사이즈가 널찍해서 좋았어요. 
욕조와 샤워부스가 있구요. TV와 화장대처럼 쓸 수 있도록 의자까지 있었습니다. 
세면대가 두개라서 가족끼리 외출준비 할 때 편했습니다. 
 
The bathroom was spacious and comfortable.
It had a bathtub and shower. It even had a TV and a chair that could be used as a vanity.
The double sinks made it convenient for the family to get ready for a day out.
 

 
호텔 오메니티인데 샴푸, 린스, 바디워시, 바디로션, 가글, 면봉, 화장솜, 샤워캡, 메이크업 리무버, 칫솔, 치약까지 필요한 것 다 있었습니다. 
그런데 미국 호텔인데도 편의용품에 중국어가 크게 적혀 있어서 궁금했는데요~ 
마카오 윈 리조트에서 제작된 글로벌 어메니티를 사용하고 있다고 하네요. 
앙코르가 윈 리조트의 럭셔리 서브 브랜드라서 그렇다고 합니다.  
 
Hotel amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, mouthwash, cotton swabs, cotton pads, a shower cap, makeup remover, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Everything I needed was there.
I was curious to see that the amenities were written in large Chinese, even though it was an American hotel.
They say they use global amenities made by Wynn Resorts in Macau.
This is because Encore is a luxury sub-brand of Wynn Resorts.
 

 
화장실 문 뒤에 걸려있는 호텔 샤워가운.
안쪽은 타올, 겉면은 실크소재로 되어있어서 입으면 회장님놀이 가능.
뭔가 부유해 보이는 느낌

The inside is made of towel and the outside is made of silk.
 
 

 
 
그리고 객실 곳곳에 걸려있는 로이 리히텐슈타인의 미술작품이 눈길을 사로잡았습니다. 
( 물론 진품은 아닙니다. )
And the Roy Lichtenstein artwork hanging throughout the room caught my eye.
(Of course, it's not genuine.)
 

 
호텔 브랜드 네임이 적혀있는 무료 생수가 있었구요.
요청하면 더 가져다 줬어요. 
 
There was complimentary bottled water with the hotel's brand name on it.
They brought more upon request.
 

 

네스프레소 커피 머신과 버츄오 커피캡슐이 있습니다. 
직접 마셔보니 대용량에 풍부한 거품인 크레마가 많아서 좋았어요. 
커피잔도 너무 예쁘구요.
참고로 호텔안에 던킨도넛과 쉑쉑 버거가 있거든요.
아침에 도넛 사다가 네스프레소 커피와 함께 먹으니 꿀맛이었습니다. 
 
There's a Nespresso coffee machine and Vertuo coffee capsules.
I tried it myself and loved the large capacity and rich crema.
The coffee cup is also very pretty.
By the way, there's a Dunkin' Donuts and Shake Shack inside the hotel.
I bought a donut in the morning and had it with my Nespresso coffee, and it was delicious.
 

 
그리고 옷장안에 호텔 슬리퍼가 있는데 사이즈가 달라요. 너무 귀엽죠?
하얀색 슬리퍼는 M사이즈, 갈색 슬리퍼는 L사이즈 정도 됩니다. 
각각 여자, 남자가 신으면 되겠어요. 
벨벳 느낌의 소재라서 굉장히 부드럽고, 이제껏 봤던 호텔 슬리퍼 중에 가장 비싸 보이는 슬리퍼였어요. 
 
And there are hotel slippers in the closet, in different sizes. Aren't they so cute?
The white ones are size M, and the brown ones are size L.
They'd be perfect for men and women, respectively.
The velvet-like material is incredibly soft, and they were the most expensive-looking hotel slippers I've ever seen.
 

 
룸서비스 메뉴와 호텔 안내 등등
모든 서비스가 태블릿으로 제공되어 스마트하게 느껴졌습니다. 
 
Room service menus, hotel information, etc.
All services were provided on tablets, making it feel smart.
 

 

웰컴 기프트로 초콜릿& 린넨 스프레이 를 줍니다.

초콜릿을 먹어보니 짭쪼름한 소금 초콜릿 이었어요. 
마치 소금빵처럼 단짠단짠한 맛입니다.
처음 소금빵을 접했을 때 느꼈던 그 충격이 생생한데, 소금 초콜릿 역시 저에게 강렬한 인상을 주었습니다. 
 
They give you a chocolate and linen spray as a welcome gift.
I tasted the chocolate and it was salty chocolate.
It had a sweet and salty flavor, like salt bread.
I still remember the shock I felt when I first tried salt bread, and the salt chocolate left a lasting impression on me.
 

 
린넨 스프레이를 잠 자기 전 베개와 침구에 뿌려보았어요. 
향을 맡으면서 휴식을 취하니까 긴장이 이완되면서 편안한 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다. 
 
I sprayed the linen spray on my pillow and bedding before bed.
The scent helped me relax and unwind, which helped me relax and have a restful night.
 

호텔 앞에 (무료) 워터택시 서비스가 있으니 꼭 이용해 보시길 바랍니다. 

호텔부터 롱와프 선착장까지 왕복 운행하는데, 롱와프가 바로 퀸시마켓이 있는 보스턴 시내에요. 
 
There's a free water taxi service in front of the hotel, so be sure to take advantage of it.
It runs round-trip from the hotel to Long Wharf Pier, which is located in downtown Boston, right next to Quincy Market.
 

 
별도 요금없이 자유롭게 이용할 수 있고 선착순으로 보트에 탑승하면 됩니다. 
우버택시보다 색다른 이동경험을 할 수 있기 때문에 꼭 타보시길 추천할게요.
보트에 타면 아래칸으로 내려가 앉는 자리가 또 있습니다.  
저와 가족은 안으로 들어가지 않고 창문이 잘 보이는 자리에 앉았습니다. 
 
There's no fee, and boats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
It offers a unique travel experience compared to Uber, so I highly recommend taking it.
Once you board the boat, there's a lower section where you can sit.
My family and I sat in a seat by the window, rather than going inside.
 

보트는 정해진 시간표대로 움직이고 소요시간은 총 25분이 걸렸습니다. 
보스턴에서 무료로 보트타기>> 이거 은근 신나고 재밌어요.
롱와프 선착장 18번 기억해 뒀다가 올때도 같은 곳에서 워터택시 탑승했습니다.
앙코르 보스턴 하버 워터셔틀 사인을 확인해 주세요. 
 
The boat ran on schedule and took a total of 25 minutes.
Free Boat Rides in Boston. This is surprisingly exciting and fun.
I memorized Long Wharf Pier 18 and boarded the water taxi from the same location on the way back.
Look for the Encore Boston Harbor Water Shuttle sign.
 

 
 
퀸시마켓에 간다면 식사는 꼭 포장해 오세요. 
왜냐면 호텔 내 레스토랑은 비싸고 근처에 먹을만한 식당이 없거든요. 

그리고 객실 뷰가 워낙~ 좋아서 마치 고급 레스토랑에서 식사하는 기분이었습니다. 
보스턴에서 '마이크 패스트리' 를 꼭 먹어봐야 한다길래 차 타고 나가서 사왔어요. 

카놀리 한상자를 사왔는데 선택한 맛은 플레인, 피스타치오, 오레오, 초코 였습니다. 

가게 이름이 마이크 패스트리 인데 이 가게가 유명해진 건 카놀리 덕분이라고 하네요?

이름은 마이크 페스트리 지만 실제로는 카놀리 전문점 인 셈이죠~
직접 먹어보니 카놀리 크기가 꽤 크고 한사람이 먹기엔 좀 물리더군요..
그래서 팁은?!!)) 인원수대로 사지 말고 그냥 반씩 나눠 먹으면 충분할 것 같습니다. 
 
 
If you go to Quincy Market, be sure to get your meal to-go.
Because the hotel restaurant is expensive and there aren't any decent places nearby.
And the view from my room was so amazing, it felt like I was dining at a fancy restaurant.
I heard you absolutely must try Mike's Pastry in Boston, so I drove out and bought some.
I bought a box of cannoli, and I chose plain, pistachio, Oreo, and chocolate.
The store is called Mike's Pastry, and I heard it became famous because of the cannoli, right?
It's called Mike's Pastry, but it's actually a cannoli specialty store.
When I tried it myself, the cannoli was quite large and a bit too much for one person.
So, any tips?!!)) Don't buy a whole pack; just split it in half. That should be enough.

 

 

 
 
'앙코르 보스턴 하버 호텔' 을 이용한 저의 소감은요?!
보스턴에서 꼭 가볼만한 곳이라고 생각합니다. 미국 동부에서 라스베가스의 분위기를 느낄 수 있는 곳이었어요. 
라스베가스에서는 일부러 호텔 투어도 하잖아요~ 
여기 호텔 수영장이 없는건 좀 아쉬운데ㅜㅜ  이곳에서 머문 경험은 정말 값지고 만족스러웠습니다. 
 
꼭 투숙하지 않아도
1. 워터택시로 보트를 즐기고,  2. 화려한 호텔 로비를 구경한 뒤  3. 호텔 내 쉑쉑버거 먹고 돌아오면 딱이에요. 
호텔 로비에 있는 화장실 퀄리티만 봐도 여기 구경하러 잠깐 들리기 잘했다고 생각이 들 거에요. 
 
 

What was my experience at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel?
I think it's a must-see in Boston. It's a place where you can experience the Las Vegas vibe on the East Coast.
In Las Vegas, you even go on hotel tours!
It's a bit disappointing that there's no pool here, but my stay here was truly valuable and satisfying.
Even if you don't stay here,
1. Enjoy a water taxi ride, 2. Explore the splendid hotel lobby, and 3. Grab a Shake Shack burger before heading back. It's perfect.
Just look at the quality of the bathrooms in the hotel lobby, and you'll be glad you stopped by.
