내 마음 속 1위였던 [제주 해비치 호텔 앤 리조트] 이제는 폼이 많이 죽었어요ㅠ 솔직 후기

안녕하세요. 눈사람호텔리뷰 입니다. 

이번 여름 휴가로 "제주 해비치 호텔&리조트" 에 다녀온 경험을 기록하려고 해요.

 
Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
I'm sharing my experience at Jeju Haebeach Hotel & Resort during my summer vacation.
 

이번에 벌써 세번째 방문인데요~

전에는 해비치 호텔로 두번 방문했고, 이번에는 해비치 리조트로 예약하게 되었습니다. 

제주 해비치 호텔은 전형적인 5성급 객실이지만 해비치 리조트는 콘도형 구조로 되어 있습니다.
해비치 호텔과 리조트를 둘다 이용해 봤으니까 느낀점 위주로 알려드릴께요.  
 
This is already my third visit.
I've been to the Haevichi Hotel twice before, and this time I booked the Haevichi Resort.
The Jeju Haevichi Hotel offers typical five-star rooms, while the Haevichi Resort has a condo-style layout.
Having stayed at both the Haevichi Hotel and the resort, I'll share my thoughts based on my experience.
 

 
이곳은 해비치 리조트 로비 입니다. 
특히! 로비에 있는 거대한 통나무 의자가 압도적인데, 포토존 혹은 인증샷 장소로 인기 있다고 해요. 
그밖에 돌로 된 프론트 데스크와 천장 벽면에 바람부는 듯한 인테리어를 볼 수 있어요.
돌, 나무, 바람 으로 '제주의 자연' 을 표현한 것 같습니다. 
 
This is the lobby of Haevichi Resort.
The massive log chair in the lobby is particularly striking, making it a popular photo spot or commemorative photo spot.
Other highlights include the stone front desk and the windswept interior design on the ceiling.
It seems to embody "Jeju's nature" through the use of stone, wood, and wind.
 

 
이곳은 최근 새롭게 단장한 이디 (iidy) 레스토랑 입니다. 
원래는 뷔페였는데 리뉴얼 후 올데이다이닝 형식으로 바뀌었다고 하네요. 
입구에 황금빛 나비가 날아가는 것 같은 조명이 멋졌구요. 
전체적으로 절제된 인테리어 톤과 색감이 부드러우면서 고급스러운 느낌을 주었습니다. 
3일동안 리조트에 머물면서 느낀건데... 이디 레스토랑을 이용하는 사람은 적어보였어요. 
뭔가 항상 텅 비어있는 느낌?;;
 
This is the recently renovated iidy restaurant.
It was originally a buffet, but after the renovation, it became an all-day dining restaurant.
The golden butterfly-like lighting at the entrance was stunning.
The overall, understated interior tones and colors created a soft, luxurious feel.
During my three-day stay at the resort, I noticed that iidy restaurant didn't seem to be frequented.
It always felt empty?
 

 
체크인하고 방으로 가보겠습니다.
복도에 걷다보면 객실문이 띄엄띄엄 있는 걸 볼 수 있어요. 
그만큼 객실 방 사이즈가 넓다는 뜻이죠?!!! 
제주 해비치에서 호텔보다 여기 리조트가 더 좋다고 들어서 기대가 되었어요. 
 
Let's check in and head to our room.
As you walk down the hallway, you'll see guestroom doors scattered about.
That means the rooms are spacious, right?!!!
I heard this resort was better than the hotel in Jeju Haebeach, so I was excited.
 

 
호텔과 달리 리조트 객실은 신발을 벗고 들어갑니다. 
마침 입구에 센스있게 슬리퍼를 세팅해 놓았어요. 
 
Unlike hotels, resort rooms require you to take off your shoes before entering.
They even have slippers thoughtfully placed at the entrance.
 

 

이번에 이용한 객실 타입은 "마스터 스위트" 입니다. 

넓은 거실, 방2, 주방, 화장실2, 테라스가 있는 구조였어요. 
공간이 넓어서 그런지 해비치 호텔보다 확실히 좋긴 좋네요~~
 
The room type I stayed in this time was the "Master Suite."
It had a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a terrace.
Perhaps because of the spaciousness, it was definitely better than the Hae Beach Hotel.
 

 
여긴 주방인데 보자마자 우와~~!! 하고  탄성을 질렀습니다.  
완전 인테리어 잡지에 나오는 주방처럼 생겼어요. 
 
This is the kitchen, and the moment I saw it, I exclaimed, "Wow!!"
It looks exactly like a kitchen straight out of an interior design magazine.
 

 
주방에는 냉장고, 커피머신, 티포트, 드리퍼 (차 마실때 사용), 유리잔, 와인잔, 접시, 식기류가 있었구요
해비치에서 직접 제작한 커피와 홍차 티백이 있었어요. 

그리고 인덕션이 있긴 한데... 주방에선 취사 금지입니다.  

그래서 그런지 인덕션 전용 프라이팬이나 냄비 자체가 없더라구요. 
 
The kitchen had a refrigerator, coffee machine, teapot, dripper (for tea), glasses, wine glasses, plates, and cutlery.
There were coffee and tea bags made directly by Hae Beach.
Although there was an induction stove, cooking was prohibited in the kitchen.
Perhaps that's why there weren't any induction-specific frying pans or pots.
 

 
음... 주방은 아주 멋있는데 막상 활용하는 공간이 아니라서 아쉬움을 느꼈어요. 
주방 안 테이블은 바로 앞에 6인용 테이블이 있으니까 잘 사용 안했어요. 
이 넓은 주방 공간을 제대로 활용할 수 없다 보니, 차라리 가격 좀 낮은 스위트 룸(주방 없는)으로 예약하는게 가성비 면에서 더 나았을 것 같다는 생각이 들었어요. 
 
Well... the kitchen was very nice, but I was disappointed that it wasn't a very usable space.
There was a six-person table right in front of the kitchen, so I didn't really use it.
Since I couldn't fully utilize this spacious kitchen, I thought it would have been better value for money to book a cheaper suite (without a kitchen).
 

 
창밖 테라스는 주차장 뷰 였습니다....
그래도 곳곳에 야자수가 보여서 휴양지 온 느낌이 나긴 합니다. 
프론트 데스크에 다른 뷰로 변경할 수 있는지 문의해봤지만, 남는 방이 없다는 답변을 받았어요. 
실제로 해비치 리조트 주차장이 가득 차 있는 걸 보니, 정말 빈 방이 없을 수도 있겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 
여기 항상 만차여서 주차하기 은근 힘듦;;;
 
The terrace outside the window had a parking lot view...
Still, the palm trees scattered throughout gave it a resort-like feel.
I asked the front desk if I could change to a different view, but they told me there were no rooms available.
Seeing that the Hae Beach Resort parking lot was actually full, I realized there might not be any rooms left.
 

여기는 메인침실 !! 창문과 화장실이 함께 있는 방 이에요.
화장실 사이즈는 솔직히 비좁은 느낌입니다.  
호텔 어메니티는 해비치 호텔과 동일했는데요~ 퍼퓸 마스터가 제작한거라 향이 엄청 좋아요.
한마디로 중성적인 향수 느낌?!
 
This is the master bedroom! It's a room with a window and a bathroom.
The bathroom is honestly a bit cramped.
The hotel amenities were the same as at Hae Beach Hotel. They were created by a perfume master, so the scent is amazing.
In short, it feels like a neutral perfume?!
 

 

여긴 서브룸인데 메인룸과 벽지 컬러가 달라서 좀 더 아늑해 보였어요. 

이 방은 창문은 없지만 옷장이 있습니다.  옷장안에 호텔 가운과 건조대가 있어요. 
 
This is the sub-room, and the wallpaper color is different from the main room, making it feel a bit more cozy.
This room doesn't have a window, but it does have a closet. Inside the closet are hotel robes and a drying rack.
 

 
여긴 거실 화장실인데 사이즈가 널찍해서 이곳을 자주 사용했습니다.
샤워실이 두 개라서 수영후 각자 따로 씻을 수 있으니까~
확실히 해비치 호텔보다 편하고 좋았어요. 
 
This is the bathroom in the living room. It's spacious, so I used it often.
There are two shower rooms, so we could each wash up separately after swimming.
It was definitely more comfortable and better than the Hae Beach Hotel.
 

편의용품 케이스가 '돌'이라 굉장히 묵직합니다.  
그러고보니 '돌로 만든 프론트 데스크'와 잔디밭에서 봤던 '돌 스피커' 까지..! 자연과 어우러진 감각이 돋보입니다. 
 
The convenience case is made of stone, so it feels incredibly heavy.
Come to think of it, there's even a stone front desk and a stone speaker I saw on the lawn! The natural sensibility is striking.
 

 
쇼파 재질도 독특했는데요. 밝은 컬러에 보송보송한 쇼파였어요. 
자칫 음식물이나 주스라도 쏟으면 관리가 어려워 보였는데...
이러한 쇼파를 선택한 것이 대단해 보였습니다. 
 
The sofa material was also unique. It was a bright color and soft.
It seemed like it would be difficult to maintain if food or juice were spilled...
I thought it was a great choice.
 

 
거실 테이블 위에는 찻잎, 샌드쿠키, 현무 초콜릿이 준비되어 있어요.
방에서 무료로 즐길 수 있는 다과 서비스 입니다. 
딱 하나만 있어서 아쉬웠던 샌드쿠키는 쪼개서 가족과 함께 나눠먹었구요.
구멍이 숭숭 뚫려있는 현무 초콜릿은 보기에는 거칠어 보였는데 먹어보니 정말 부드러운 식감의 초콜릿 이었어요. 
현무 초콜릿은 처음 먹어봤는데 정말 신기했습니다.  
 
On the living room table were tea leaves, sandwich cookies, and black turkey chocolate.
This is a complimentary in-room refreshment service.
I was disappointed there was only one sandwich cookie, so I broke it up and shared it with my family.
The black turkey chocolate, with its holes, looked rough at first glance, but it had a surprisingly smooth texture.
It was my first time trying black turkey chocolate, and it was truly amazing.
 

 
봉투 안에는 '다이닝 메뉴'와 '액시티비 프로그램 안내지' 가 있었습니다. 
그 중 해비치 스트레칭은 무료 프로그램이니 한번 경험해 보세요.
전에 해비치 왔을 때 두 번 해봤는데 만족했던 프로그램이에요. 
스트레칭 외에 나머지는 유료 프로그램이었습니다. 

 
Inside the envelope were a "Dining Menu" and an "Activity Program Guide."
The Hae Beach Stretching program is free, so give it a try.
I tried it twice when I visited Hae Beach before and was very satisfied with it.
Aside from the stretching program, the rest were paid programs.
 

 
방 구경을 실컷 한 뒤, 리조트 수영장으로 나가봤어요.  
리조트 수영장엔 메인풀, 온수풀 그리고 얕은 수영장이 있었습니다. 
그런데 온 수영장 바닥에 흥건히 물이 고여 있더라구요?!! 한바퀴 돌아봤는데 전체 다 그랬습니다.  
물 때문에 잘박잘박 하면서 걸어다녔는데 이것 때문에 수영장이 그리 쾌적해 보이진 않더군요.   

전세계 여러 호텔 수영장을 이용해봤지만, 수영장 근처에 많은 양의 물이 이렇게 고여 있는 건 처음이었어요. 
미끄럼 사고 안전문제가 있을 수 있으니 조치해야 할 것 처럼 보였습니다. 

 
After exploring the master suite, I headed out to the resort pool.
The resort pool had a main pool, a heated pool, and a shallow pool.
However, the pool floor was covered in puddles of water. I took a quick look around, and the entire area was covered in puddles.
I was walking around in the water, feeling a bit uneasy, and the pool didn't look particularly pleasant.
I've been to many hotel pools around the world, but this was the first time I've seen such a large amount of standing water near a pool.
It seemed like a safety hazard, like a slipping accident, so I felt like I needed to take action.
 

 
이번엔 호텔쪽 수영장도 구경하러 갔어요. 

여긴 수영장 근처에 물 고여있는 곳이 없어서, 리조트 수영장보다 상태가 훨씬 나아보였습니다. 

 
This time, I also went to check out the hotel pool.
There wasn't any standing water near the pool, so it looked much better than the resort pool.
 

 
다음 날 가족들과 물놀이 하러 갔어요. 

호텔 직원에게 " 리조트 수영장은 노키즈존" 이라 호텔쪽 수영장을 이용해야 한다는 안내를 들었어요.

가족끼리 리조트에 놀러왔는데 노키즈존 수영장이라니... 규칙이 너무 황당한데요..;;
리조트 수영장 근처에 흥건하게 물고임이 있어서 아이들 넘어질까봐 그러는 걸까요..
아무튼 현재 묵고 있는 리조트 동에서 수영장을 이용하기 위해 호텔동으로 갔습니다. 
여긴 물고임도 없고 실내 수영장과 야외수영장이 있어서 더 쾌적하고 좋아요.
 
The next day, I went swimming with my family.
I was told by the hotel staff that the resort pool was a "no kids zone" and that we had to use the hotel pool.
We were visiting the resort with our family, and the pool was a "no kids zone"... That rule is so absurd...;;
I wonder if they're worried about the kids falling in because there's a lot of water near the resort pool.
Anyway, I went to the hotel building to use the pool at the resort building where I'm currently staying.
This place has an indoor and outdoor pool, making it even more comfortable and enjoyable.
 

 
참고로 수영장은 매시간마다 '10분씩 휴식 타임' 이 있습니다. 
어린이용 구명조끼가 있었구요.  
실내와 야외 수영장이 서로 연결되어 있어서 기분에 따라 자유롭게 오갈 수 있는게 매력입니다. 
얼마 전 갔었던 '제주 신화월드' 는 실내 수영장이 너무 추웠는데, 여기는 실내수영장이 따뜻해서 만족했어요. 
실내 온도가 딱 적당해서 수영 후 썬베드에서 낮잠 잘 수 있습니다. ㅋㅋ
수영장에서 신나고 재밌게 놀면서 최고의 여름 휴가를 보냈어요.  
 
For your information, the pool has a 10-minute break every hour.
There were life jackets for children.
The indoor and outdoor pools are connected, so you can freely switch between them depending on your mood, which is a nice touch.
The indoor pool at Jeju Shinhwa World, which I visited recently, was so cold, but here, the indoor pool was warm, which was a nice touch.
The indoor temperature was just right, so you could take a nap on the sunbed after swimming. Haha.
I had the best summer vacation ever, having so much fun and enjoying the pool.
 

 
수영 끝나고 방에서 따뜻한 녹차 마셨습니다. 
찻잎 즐기는 방법 설명서를 보니까
녹찻잎을 주전자에 넣고 -> 포트에 끓인물을 드리퍼에 부은뒤 -> 찻잎 넣은 주전자에 천천히 따라줍니다. 
3~5분 후에 마시면 되는데 이렇게 마시면 떫은 맛이 덜하고 차의 향기 잘 살아난다고 하네요.  

 
After swimming, I enjoyed warm green tea in my room.
According to the instructions on how to enjoy tea,
you should:
Place the green tea leaves in a teapot, then pour the boiled water into the dripper, and then slowly pour it into the teapot with the tea leaves.
You should let it steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking. This method reportedly reduces the bitterness and enhances the tea's aroma.
 

 
호텔 부대시설로는 편의점과 멀티 게임존이 있습니다. 
전에는 없었던 게임존이 새로 생겼나봐요. 
플레이 스테이션 게임을 할 수 있었는데 아이와 어른이 무료로 함께 즐길 수 있는 공간이었습니다. 
참고로 호텔 내 CU 편의점은 통신사 할인도 가능했습니다. 
 
Hotel amenities include a convenience store and a multi-game zone.
I think this new game zone was a new addition.
PlayStation games were available, and it was a space where children and adults could enjoy games together for free.
The CU convenience store inside the hotel also offered discounts from mobile carriers.
 

 
호텔 내 어린이 놀이시설 '놀멍' 입니다.  
예전에는 놀멍 외에도 ' 키즈 라운지 모루' 도 있었거든요?

넓은 공간에서 책도 읽고 장난감도 가지고 놀 수 있었던 곳이었는데 지금은 사라졌다고 해요. 

처음 해비치에 놀러왔을 때는 아기용품 대여 서비스가 세심하게 준비되어 있어서 정말로 감동했던 기억이 있습니다. 
덕분에 제 마음 속 1위 호텔은 항상 제주 해비치 호텔이였어요. 

하지만 지금은 '노키즈존 수영장'에 '사라져버린 키즈 라운지' 까지...
예전처럼 가족 친화적인 분위기는 느껴지지 않았고, 과거 명성에 비해 못하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 

 
This is the hotel's children's play area, "Nolmung."
In the past, there was also a "Kids' Lounge Moru" in addition to Nolmung.
It was a spacious space where people could read books and play with toys, but I heard it's gone now.
When I first visited Haebeach, I was really impressed by the thoughtful baby equipment rental service.
Thanks to that, the Jeju Haebeach Hotel has always been my top hotel.
But now, with the "No Kids Zone Pool" and the "Kids' Lounge" gone...
It didn't feel as family-friendly as it used to, and it felt like it hadn't lived up to its former reputation.
 

 
 
해비치 리조트는 후문과 가깝다는 장점이 있습니다.  그래서 후문쪽에 몰려있는 제주도 맛집들을 이용하기가 수월했어요. 
호텔 내 삭덩둘운 가격이 꽤 비싸다보니, 저희는 주로 후문에 있는 식당에서 제주도식 음식을 즐겼습니다.  
머무는 동안 보말칼국수, 제주식 고기국밥, 몸국, 고등어구이 를 먹었어요.   
식사 후에는 표선 해수욕장까지 걸어서 갈 수 있는데, 바닷물이 깊지 않아 아이 데리고 바다 물놀이 하기에 좋은 곳이였습니다. 
 
Haevichi Resort has the advantage of being close to the back gate. This made it easy to enjoy the many Jeju Island restaurants clustered around the back gate.
Since the prices of the hotel's sakdeungdulun (salted rice cake soup) were quite high, we mostly enjoyed Jeju Island cuisine at the restaurant near the back gate.
During our stay, we enjoyed bomal kalguksu (noodles with boiled top shells), Jeju-style meat soup, momguk (pork soup), and grilled mackerel.
After dinner, we could walk to Pyoseon Beach. The shallow waters made it a great place for children to play in the water.
