[노보텔 서퍼스파라다이스 호텔] 브리즈번 골드코스트 해변이 보이는 호텔, (구) 그랜드챈슬러 서퍼스파라다이스 호텔

오늘은 브리즈번에 위치한 '그랜드챈슬러 호텔'에 방문했던 경험을 기록합니다.

Hello, this is Snowman Hotel Review.

Today, I am documenting my experience visiting the 'Grand Chancellor Hotel' located in Brisbane.

 

난 분명히 브리즈번 '그랜드챈슬러' 호텔에 방문했었고...( 엘리베이터에 있는 호텔명 사진이 그 증거 )

위치는 골드코스트 해변 근처였는데, 지금 구글맵 찾아보니까 그랜드챈슬러 브리즈번 호텔 위치는 다른곳으로 나오네요.
알고보니 호텔명이 바뀌었어요. 지금은 '노보텔 서퍼스파라다이스호텔'이라고 되어있습니다.

아무튼 내가 방문했던 (구) 호텔 그랜드챈슬러는 36층까지 있고 위치가 대박 좋았던 점이 기억에 남습니다. 

 

I definitely visited the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Brisbane (the hotel's name on the elevator is proof). The hotel was located near Gold Coast Beach, but when I checked Google Maps now, it shows a different location for the Grand Chancellor Brisbane Hotel. It turns out the hotel has changed its name and is now called the Novotel Surfers Paradise Hotel. Anyway, I remember that the former Grand Chancellor Hotel had 36 floors and was in an excellent location.

 

 

이 호텔은 방도 널찍하고 테라스가 있어서 좋았어요.
숙소 위치도 좋은데 방 컨디션도 좋아서 만족했던 곳이네요. 

호텔 바로 앞에 골드코스트 해변이 있고, 주변에 먹을 것과 즐길 것이 많았어요.

또 주변에 서핑샵이 많아서 서퍼들이 골드코스트에서 파도타기 하더라구요.

 

The hotel had spacious rooms and a terrace, which was great. The location of the accommodation was excellent, and the room conditions were also very satisfying.

Right in front of the hotel was Gold Coast Beach, and there were plenty of food and entertainment options in the vicinity.

Additionally, there were many surfing shops around, where surfers enjoyed riding the waves at Gold Coast.

 

 

 

그리고 무엇보다 방에서 보는 뷰가 이 정도 ㅎ ㄷ ㄷ
테라스에서 골드코스트해변이 보이고 정말 시원하고 좋았어요.

And above all, the view from the room was incredible! From the terrace, you could see Gold Coast Beach, which was truly refreshing and delightful.

 

 

아침에 골드코스트 해변에 산책을 나왔는데, 사람이 가까이 다가가도 갈매기가 날아가지 않았어요. 
I went for a morning walk on Gold Coast Beach, and even when people approached closely, the seagulls didn't fly away.

 

호주 길거리 다니다보면 자주 볼 수 있는 나무들인데 우리나라에는 볼 수 없는 나무라서 신기해서 찍어보았어요. 
나무 가지들이 다 땅으로 뻗어서 뿌리처럼 자라는 나무를 보니까 아바타 숲이 생각났어요. 

I came across some trees commonly found on Australian streets, but they’re quite unusual and not seen in our country, so I took a photo. The trees have branches that spread out and grow down to the ground like roots, which reminded me of the Avatar forest.

헐!!!!
마치 우리나라 비둘기처럼 길거리에 이렇게 알록달록 예쁜 앵무새들이 여기저기 앉아있어요.
너무 신기해서 가까이 다가가 봤는데 날아가지도 않았어요.
손 뻗어봤는데 새가 안 날아가서 거의 만질뻔 했답니다. 뭔가 신기한 경험이었어요. 

That sounds like an amazing experience! It must have been quite a sight to see colorful parrots behaving so casually around people. It's fascinating how wildlife can be so different in various places. If you have more details or photos, they could be a great addition to your review.

 

 

크리스마스 시즌이 다가오니 거대한 트리도 보이고 사람도 북적북적한 분위기입니다. 

호주는 크리스마스가 여름이라 반팔을 입고 있네요. 
북반구 남반구 기준으로 계절이 서로 반대니까, 크리스마스 때 여름나라를 방문하는건 참 색다른 경험인 것 같애요. 
그런데 재밌는 점은 여름이라 반팔 입고 있어도 '크리스마스라고 눈 내리는 인테리어'를 표현해 놓았습니다. ㅎ
캥거루 동상이 있길래 같이 사진 찍어봤는데 내가 지금 호주에 왔구나 확실히 느껴지는 순간이었네요. 

As Christmas approaches, there are giant trees and a bustling atmosphere everywhere.

In Australia, Christmas falls during the summer, so people are wearing short sleeves. It's quite a unique experience to visit a summer country during Christmas, given that the seasons are opposite in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Interestingly, despite the summer heat, there are Christmas decorations featuring snow. I even took a photo with a kangaroo statue, which made it feel like I was definitely in Australia.
