인터컨티넨탈 파르나스 호텔 호캉스 솔직 후기 [그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 서울 파르나스]

이번에는 삼성동에 위치한 '그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 서울 파르나스 호텔'에 다녀온 경험을 공유합니다. 
이 호텔은 이름이 길기 때문에  '인터컨티넨탈 파르나스'로 줄여서 많이 부릅니다. 
 
Hello, this is Snowman Hotel Review.
I recently visited the "Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel" located in Samseong-dong, and I'd like to share my experience.
Due to its long name, many people refer to it simply as the InterContinental Parnas.
 

 
삼성동에 두 곳의 인터컨티넨탈 호텔이 있었는데, '인터컨티넨탈 코엑스'는 7월부로 문을 닫았고 '인터컨티넨탈 파르나스'로 호캉스 다녀왔습니다. 
 
Samseong-dong used to have two InterContinental hotels, but the "InterContinental Seoul COEX" closed in July.
I enjoyed my staycation at the "InterContinental Parnas."
 

 
호텔은 파르나스 몰과 연결되어 있어요.
파르나스 몰은 2호선 지하철 역과 코엑스와도 연결되어 있어 이동이 편리한 곳입니다.
파르나스 몰에서 엘리베이터를 타고 올라오면 로비 편의점 있는 곳으로 나오더라구요.
 
The hotel is conveniently connected to the "Parnas Mall," which is also linked to Line 2 of the subway and the COEX complex. You can take the elevator from Parnas Mall directly to the area in the hotel lobby where the convenience store is located.
 

 
안으로 더 쭉 들어가면 체크인 카운터가 나옵니다. 
호텔 복도에 제주도 김창열 미술관에서 봤던 '물방울 작품'을 볼 수 있었어요.
 
If you continue further inside, you'll reach the check-in counter.
In the hotel's corridors, I was impressed to see "Water Drop" artworks, similar to those I had seen at the Kim chang-Yeul Museum in Jeju.
 

 
호텔 로비가 넓은 공간으로 뻥 뚫린 구조가 아니라, 복도로 뱅글뱅글 도는 구조여서 좀 답답하더라구요. 
로비 한켠에는 예술 작품 전시를 하고 있었고 누구나 무료로 관람 가능합니다.
 
The hotel lobby, instead of being a spacious area, felt cramped to me because it winds around like a maze of corridors.
In one corner of the lobby, artworks were exhibited and open to the public for free.
 

그리고 로비 한쪽에는 이 호텔의 시그니처 공간인 '로비라운지 &바' 가 있어요. 
 
And on one side of the lobby, there is the hotel's signature space, the 'Lobby Lounge & Bar'.
 

 

 
역대급 예쁜 공간이에요!!! 천장에서 별빛이 쏟아지는 느낌을 느낄 수 공간입니다.
유명한 설치 미술가의 작품인 '빛의 기둥'이래요. 
실물이 훨씬 예쁜데... 카메라로 그 느낌을 다 담지 못했어요. 
 
It sounds like an incredibly beautiful space!!!
It's a place where you can feel like starlight is pouring down from the ceiling.
It features the famous installation artwork 'Column of Light' by a renowned installation artist.
The actual experience is much more beautiful... Cameras couldn't capture that feeling entirely.
 

 
6만개의 크리스탈 비즈로 은하수를 재현했다고 합니다. 
보니까 로비라운지 설치 미술이 시즌별로 바뀌는 것 같았어요. 
그 전의 작품들도 모두 멋있지만, 이번 컨셉이 역대급으로 예쁜 것 같아요. 
 
It's said to have recreated the Milky Way with 60,000 crystal beads.
It seems like the lobby lounge's installation art changes seasonally.
All the previous artworks were impressive, but this season's concept seems exceptionally beautiful
 

 
이 호텔 오기전,  <국내에서 가장 로비가 예쁜 호텔> 컨텐츠로 해야 겠다고 생각했었어요.........
그런데 막상 와보니 로비라운지에 가벽을 세워놔서 사방으로 막혀 있는 모습이었어요.
로비라운지 주변을 한바퀴 돌면서 사진 찍은 모습이에요. 
가벽으로 시선이 차단되어서, 저 멋진 작품을 볼 때의 감동이 반감되는 느낌이었어요. 
굳이 가벽 설치를 왜 저렇게 해 놓은 걸까요..
 
Before coming to this hotel, I thought about creating content about "the most beautiful hotel lobbies in Korea"...
But when I arrived, I found that they had installed partitions in the lobby lounge, blocking the view in all directions.
Here's a photo of me walking around the lobby lounge and taking pictures.
The partitions blocked the view, which dampened the awe I felt while admiring those beautiful artworks.
I wonder why they installed the partitions like that...
 

 
별빛이 쏟아지는 느낌의 설치 미술은 신라호텔에서도 볼 수 있잖아요?!
그 곳은 로비 한가운데 누구나 즐길 수 있는 구조인데 여긴 뭔가 좀 아쉬운 느낌이었어요. 
저런 멋있는 작품은 더 많은 사람들과 함께 공유할 때 더 빛을 낼 거 같은데 말이죠. 
결론은 직접 와보니 '국내에서 제일 예쁜 호텔 로비'는 아니란 점이에요. 
 
You can see installation art with a starlight effect at Shilla Hotel too, right?!
There, it's designed for everyone to enjoy in the middle of the lobby, but here, it felt somewhat disappointing.
Such impressive artwork would shine even brighter when shared with more people, don't you think?
In conclusion, after coming here myself, it's not quite the "most beautiful hotel lobby in Korea."
 

 
체크인하고 방을 가봤습니다. 
호텔이 전체적으로 향기롭고 냄새가 좋았어요. 
 
I checked in and went to my room.
The hotel overall smelled pleasant and fresh.
 

 
이번 호캉스는 제네시스 차량 구매할 때 받은 '호텔이용권' 사용했구요. 
참고로 기존 IHG 회원 혜택은 없고 기본룸이 제공됩니다. 
 
This vacation, I used a hotel voucher received when purchasing a Genesis vehicle.
Just to note, I don't have existing IHG membership benefits, and I received a standard room.
 

 
창밖은 복작복작한 서울 시내 뷰에요. 쇼파베드가 있는데 누워보니 편하네요.
그래서 한사람이 여기서 누워 자니까 넓고 편하게 잘 수 있었어요.
 
Outside the window, there's a bustling view of downtown Seoul. There's a sofa bed here, and lying down on it feels comfortable.
So, when one person lies down here to sleep, they can rest comfortably in the spacious bed.
 

 
객실 천장이 너무 낮아요;;;
여자인 제가 손을 뻗어봤는데 천장에 손이 닿는 정도였습니다.
분명히 변우석 배우 같은 키큰 사람은 불편할 것 같애요. 
 
The ceiling in the room is too low. As a woman, when I reached out, my hand almost touched the ceiling.
Surely, someone tall like Byun Woo-seok would find it uncomfortable.
 

 
무료 생수는 총 4병 있고 (냉장고 2개, 커피머신 옆 2개 ), 4종류의 르네펠트 티와 네스프레소 캡슐 커피를 방에서 즐길 수 있어요. 
 
There are a total of 4 bottles of complimentary water (2 in each refrigerator and 2 next to the coffee machine), and you can enjoy 4 types of Ronnefeldt tea and Nespresso capsule coffee in the room.
 

 
유료로 구매 가능한 술, 과자, 치약, 칫솔이 있습니다. 
로비에 편의점이 있어서 여기서 구매할 필요는 없어보입니다. 
 
They had alcoholic beverages, snacks, toothpaste, and toothbrushes available for purchase.
There's a convenience store in the lobby, so there's no need to purchase anything here.
 

커피머신 서랍에 커피잔, 유리잔, 와인잔, 와인오프너, 전기주전가, 신발관련 아이템등 이 있었습니다.  
 
In the coffee machine drawer, there were coffee cups, glass cups, wine glasses, a wine opener, an electric kettle, and shoe-related items.
 

 
옷장엔 목욕가운이랑 슬리퍼가 있어요. 
호텔 슬리퍼 중 인터컨티넨탈 슬리퍼가 가장 두껍고 질이 좋다고 생각합니다. 
하얀색 심플한 슬리퍼인 줄 알았는데,호텔 마크가 표시되어 있는 슬리퍼였어요. 
그리고 수많은 호텔을 이용 했을 떄 여기 호텔의 펜이 제일 고급스러운 것 같애요. 
 
In the wardrobe, there were bathrobes and slippers.
I think InterContinental slippers are the thickest and of the best quality among hotel slippers.
I thought they were simple white slippers, but they were actually branded with the hotel's logo.
Also, having stayed in numerous hotels, I feel like the pen here is the most luxurious.
 

 
네스프레소 버츄오 캡슐 커피를 마셔보려구요. 
사용 방법은?!  물통에 물을 채우고 >  전원버튼을 누르고 > 캡슐을 넣고 > 손잡이를 내리고 > 원하는 타입의 커피버튼을 누 르면 됩니다. 
 
To try Nespresso Vertuo capsule coffee, here's how to use it:

1. Fill the water tank with water.
2. Press the power button to turn on.
3. Insert the capsule.
4. Lower the lever.
5. Press the coffee button for your desired type.

That's it!

 

커피 향 맡으니까 얼마전 두바이에서 사온 간식이랑 같이 먹으려구요. 
대추야자인데 달달하니 커피랑 먹으면 딱이에요. 
슈퍼에 가면 아라비안 딜라이트를 많이 볼 수 있는데 그 중 무화과초콜릿을 처음 봐서 얼른 사 먹어 봤어요.
씹을 때 무화과 질감이 느껴지면서 달콤하고 독특하면서 맛있습니다.  
대추야자는 오리지널, 견과류와 오렌지 껍질이 끼워져 있는 대추야자였어요. 
 
I want to enjoy the coffee aroma and the snack I brought back from Dubai recently. It's called "date palm," and it's sweet, making it perfect with coffee.
When I go to the supermarket, I often see Arabian Delight, and I recently tried fig chocolate among them. When I chew, I this، chew.
 

 
로비라운지에서 와인교환권으로 받은 와인이에요. 까베르네 소비뇽 품종 와인이었답니다.
쇼핑백이 인터컨티넨탈 표시가 있어서 선물해도 좋아보였어요. 
 
I received a wine with a Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety as a wine exchange voucher in the lobby lounge.
The shopping bag had the InterContinental logo, so it looked good to give the hotel wine as a gift.
 

 
화장실 문은 슬라이딩 방식이에요. 
전부 대리석으로 인테리어 된 화장실이었습니다.
얼마 전 다녀왔던' 시드니 킴튼 마고 호텔' 화장실과 좀 비슷하다는 느낌을 받았어요
 
The bathroom door slides open.
The entire bathroom is interior-designed in marble.
It felt somewhat similar to the bathroom at the Sydney Kimpton Margot Hotel where I visited recently.
 

 
호텔 어메니티는 바이레도 제품인데, 개인적으로 용기 디자인을 좀 변경했으면 좋겠어요.
디자인이 너무 심플 그 자체라서 고급스러운 느낌이 덜 들어요. 백화점에서 바이레도의 제품 가격을 보고는 의외였던 기억이 있어요. 샤워 할 때 사용해보니 향기도 너무 좋던데.....디자인 자체가 향기를 표현한 느낌이 전혀 없어서 그 부분이 좀 아쉬운것 같애요. 
 
The hotel amenities are by Bvlgari, and personally, I wish the container design could be slightly altered.
The design is too simplistic, lacking a luxurious feel. I remember being surprised by the price of Bvlgari products at the department store. When I used them during a shower, the scent was lovely, but the design itself doesn't convey the fragrance, which is a bit disappointing.
 

 
그리고 욕실에 샤워 볼이 있어요!! 제 경험으로는 보통 호텔에 이런거 잘 없거든요?! 
그래서 항상 여행 다닐 때 이런 샤워 타올은 꼭 챙겨서 다녔거든요. 
부산 농심호텔에 갔을 때 샤워스펀지 본 이후로 이런 세심한 호텔은 처음입니다.
 
And there's a shower ball in the bathroom!! In my experience, hotels usually don't have these, right?!
I always bring these shower towels when I travel. Since I saw a shower sponge when I went to Nongshim Hotel in Busan, this is the first time I've seen such a thoughtful hotel
 

 
세면대 서랍에는 헤어 드라이기랑, 빗, 면봉, 샤워캡, 화장솜, 손톱 관리도구 등이 있었어요. 

 
In the bathroom drawer, there was a hair dryer, comb, cotton swabs, shower cap, cotton pads, and nail care tools.
 

아쉽게도ㅜㅜㅜ 호텔 수영장이 공사중이래요. 호캉스 하러 왔는데 호텔 수영장을 이용 못하다니....;;;;
너무 아쉬운 마음에 욕조에서 놀려구요.
재밌게 놀려고 올리브영에서 베쓰볼을 샀습니다. 
할인하길래 베쓰볼 두 개에 6천원대로 구매했습니다. 
 
Unfortunately, the hotel swimming pool is under construction. I came for a vacation, but not being able to use the hotel pool is really disappointing... ;;;
Feeling disappointed, I decided to have fun in the bathtub.
To make it enjoyable, I bought bath bombs from Olive Young. They were on sale, so I bought two bath bombs for around 6,000 won in total.
 

 
와 그런데 바닥 진짜 미끄러워요 !!! 진짜 조심해야 해요 !!!! 
바닥 미끄럼 주의 경고문구도 적혀 있네요. 미끄럼방지 발매트 사이즈가 너무 작아요. 
화장실에 대리석 인테리어는 보기에는 참 예쁜데... 이런부분이 (미끄러운 것) 좀 안좋네요. 
결국 발수건을 옆에 더 깔아놨어요. 
 
Oh, but the floor is really slippery!!! You really have to be careful!!! There's even a slippery floor warning sign. The anti-slip mat is too small.
The marble interior in the bathroom looks really beautiful, but this (slippery floor) is a bit of a downside.
In the end, I placed an additional towel next to it.
 

 

올리브영 베쓰볼 사용해 보니 잘 풀리고 괜찮았어요. 
하나에 3천원 정도인데 이 정도면 만족이에요. 사실 다이소 베쓰볼도 한개에 3천원이거든요?!
그런데 다이소 베쓰볼은 잘 물에서 잘 풀리지 않고 색도 좀 흐릿해요. 
올리브영 베쓰볼 써본 후기는 ?! 다이소 베쓰볼 보다는 좋지만 러쉬 베쓰볼 보다는 좀 떨어지는... 중간 퀄리티라고 생각해요.  
 
I tried using the bath bomb from Olive Young and it dissolved well and was okay. It costs around 3,000 won each, which is satisfactory for the price. Actually, bath bombs from Daiso are also around 3,000 won each!
However, Daiso bath bombs don't dissolve well in water and the colors are a bit murky.
My review after using the Olive Young bath bomb is that it's better than the one from Daiso but not as good as Lush bath bombs... I'd say it's middle-of-the-road in terms of quality.
