오늘은 '닛코호텔 사이공'에서 룸서비스로 먹었던 경험을 기록합니다.

Hello, this is Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I would like to share my experience with the room service at the Nikko Hotel Saigon.

 

 

사이공 닛코호텔은 방마다 생화를 꽃병에 꽂아줘요. 보니까 오래된 꽃이 아닌 싱싱한 꽃이였어요. 

푹 자고 아침에 일어났는데 예쁜 꽃을 보니 기분이 좋아졌습니다. 

이 기분 좋은 상태를 유지하면서 룸서비스로 쌀국수와 스프링롤을 주문하고 기다렸어요.

At the Nikko Hotel Saigon, they place fresh flowers in a vase in every room. The flowers weren't old, but rather fresh and vibrant.

After a good night’s sleep, I woke up and felt uplifted seeing the beautiful flowers.

Wanting to maintain this pleasant mood, I ordered pho and spring rolls through room service and waited for them to arrive.

 

베트남 5성급호텔에서 먹는 쌀국수는 어떻게 생겼을까?!
우선 면이랑 육수랑 따로 나옵니다. 
면만 담겨있는 그릇에 따뜻한 육수를 가득 부어서 먹었습니다.
베트남에서 룸서비스로 쌀국수 시켜본적 있는데, 이렇게 따로 가져다주는건 처음이었어요.

What does pho served at a 5-star hotel in Vietnam look like?!

First, the noodles and broth come separately.

I poured the hot broth into the bowl filled with just the noodles and enjoyed it that way.

I've ordered pho through room service in Vietnam before, but this was the first time they brought it separately like this.

 

오 엄청 맛있어요.
가격은 240000동으로 보통 베트남 쌀국수 가게에서 먹는 가격에 3-4배 되는것 같아요. 
그런데 비싼만큼 확실히 소고기 양이 많아요.
그것도 얇은 소고기가 아니라 두툼하고 씹는 맛이 제법 느껴지는 소고기였어요. 

Oh, it was incredibly delicious.

The price was around $10, which is about 3 to 4 times the cost of pho at a typical Vietnamese restaurant.

However, the higher price definitely came with more beef. And not just thin slices, but thick, flavorful pieces that had a satisfying chew to them.

 

결론적으로 만족했던 식사였어요.
약간 이게 무슨 느낌이냐면...?!!
우리나라 신라호텔에서 룸서비스로 라면 시키는 느낌인가?! 이런 생각이 들었어요.
밖에서 먹는 라면보다 가격은 훨씬 비싸지만 해물이 푸짐하게 나오는 느낌.

In conclusion, it was a satisfying meal.

It kind of felt like… ordering ramen through room service at the Shilla Hotel in Korea?! That thought crossed my mind. The price is much higher than ramen you'd get outside, but it comes loaded with plenty of seafood.

 

 

사이공 니코호텔 룸서비스 메뉴 사진 첨부합니다. 
스프링롤은 두가지 종류가 있는데, 프레쉬 스프링롤과 크리스피 스프링롤이 있어요.
크리스피 스프링롤 주문했고 가격은 210000동 입니다. 쌀국수와 가격이 거의 비슷하네요. 

It seems you've attached a photo of the room service menu at the Nikko Hotel Saigon. There are two types of spring rolls: fresh spring rolls and crispy spring rolls.

I ordered the crispy spring rolls, and the price was 210,000 VND, which is almost the same as the price of the pho.

 

가격은 분짜, 쌀국수랑 별로 차이 없는거 같은데 롤이 딱 4개 나오는 에피타이저입니다. 
사이공 니코호텔에서 룸서비스 시킬거면 쌀국수랑 분짜같은 식사를 시키는데 나아보여요.
사이공 니코호텔이랑 연결되어 있는 나우존 쇼핑몰에 푸드코트 있는데 여기서 포장해와서 먹는게 더 가격 면에서 훨씬 나을 것 같아요.

The price of the spring rolls isn’t much different from the bun cha or pho, but it's just an appetizer with only four rolls.

If you’re ordering room service at the Nikko Hotel Saigon, it seems better to go for a full meal like pho or bun cha.

Alternatively, the NowZone shopping mall connected to the Nikko Hotel has a food court, so it might be much more cost-effective to get takeout from there instead.

 

호텔과 인접한 '나우존 쇼핑몰' 1층 카페에 사람이 엄청 많더라구요.

이름은 푹롱 카페 인데 시그니처 커피랑 복숭아 아이스티를 추천해주길래 마셔봤어요. 
시그니처 커피는 흠... 밍밍한 커피맛? 얼음녹은 커피맛입니다. (먹지마 먹지마 비추에요)
복숭아 아이스티는 황도 넣은 복숭아 넥타맛.

참고로 한국인 입맛엔 안맞는 카페였어요. 

 

The first-floor café at the NowZone Shopping Mall, which is adjacent to the hotel, was really crowded.

The café is called Phuc Long Café, and they recommended their signature coffee and peach iced tea, so I gave them a try.

The signature coffee was… hmm, like watered-down coffee or coffee with melted ice. (Don’t drink it, don’t drink it—definitely not recommended!)

The peach iced tea tasted like peach nectar with chunks of peach in it.

Overall, it wasn’t a café that suited the Korean palate.
