[방콕 더 수코솔 호텔] 방콕에서 위치좋고 가성비 있다는 호텔 솔직후기

오늘은 방콕에서 위치좋고 가성비 좋다는 호텔. 수코솔에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.

 

Hello. This is Snowman Hotelreview.

Today, I'm documenting my experience at a hotel in Bangkok known for its great location and value for money. It's about my visit to Sukosol.

 

더 수코솔 호텔 위치는 파야타이역에서 도보로 걸어 갈수 있는 가까운 거리에 있어요.

파야타이역은 공항에서 출발해서 환승안하고 한번에 갈 수 있는 곳입니다.
예전에 엄마랑 방콕여행 첫 숙소위치를 아속역으로 잡았었는데, 열차 갈아타고 잠깐 길 헤맸던 경험이 있어요. 

그래서 이렇게 공항과 바로 한번에 연결되는 파야타이역 위치는 방콕여행 첫 숙소로 아주 좋은 곳이라고 생각합니다. 

태국 열차탔는데 PRIORITY SEAT에 승려 그림이 보였어요.

보통 노약자, 임산부, 환자, 유아 에게 자리양보하는건 알겠는데 승려라니...?! 뭔가 새로운 문화에 신기했어요.

The Sukosol Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Phaya Thai Station.

Phaya Thai Station is a direct stop from the airport without any transfers. I remember during my previous trip to Bangkok with my mom, we initially chose a hotel near Asok Station, and we had a bit of trouble finding our way after switching trains.

So, having Phaya Thai Station directly connected to the airport makes it an excellent choice for the first hotel on a Bangkok trip.

When I took the train in Thailand, I noticed a picture of a monk on the PRIORITY SEAT. While it's understandable to offer seats to the elderly, pregnant women, patients, and children, seeing a monk depicted there was quite surprising! It was an interesting cultural insight.

 

 

파야타이 역 도착해서 도보로 잠깐 걸어가니 수코솔 호텔 도착했어요.

 

Arriving at Phaya Thai Station and taking a short walk, I reached The Sukosol Hotel.

 

 

수코솔 호텔 로비는 이렇게 생겼어요.

연말에 도착했더니 엄청 큰 대형 호텔 크리스마스 장식이 있었음.

크리스마스 트리를 보라색으로 포인트를 주었네요. 

The lobby of The Sukosol Hotel looked like this.

Arriving at the end of the year, I found myself in a huge hotel with Christmas decorations.

They had a Christmas tree accented in purple.

 

 

호텔 곳곳에 구경할만한 장식품이 많았어요.

특히 크기가 크고 엄청 비싸보이는 태국 전통의상 인형도 있었습니다.

 

There were many fascinating decorations throughout the hotel.

Especially notable were the large and expensive-looking traditional Thai costumes.

 

 

방으로 들어가볼게요.

I'm going to enter the room.

 

 

방에 들어와 보니 첫인상 깔끔하고 좋은 것 같네요?!

Upon entering the room, it looks clean and nice at first glance!

 

 

하지만 아니었습니다. 깔끔한 줄 알앗는데 침대에 얼룩이랑 커튼에 얼룩들이 많았어요;;;

 

However, it wasn't. I thought it was clean, but there were stains on the bed and many stains on the curtains.

 

 

커튼 열어보니 창밖은 방콕시티 뷰였습니다. 나쁘진 않았어요. 

When I opened the curtains, I found a Bangkok city view outside the window. It wasn't bad.

 

 

아니... 근데... 방안에 걸려있는 이 그림.
왜 이런 그림을 선택했을까요. 왠지 계속 신경쓰이고 뭔가 무서웠어요.

 

No... But... the picture hanging in the room. Why would they choose such a picture? It kept bothering me and felt somewhat eerie.

 

 

쿠션으로 이 그림을 가려봐야겠다. 으악!!!! 눈만 보이니 더 무섭네.

 

I should cover this picture with a cushion. Oh no!!! It's even scarier when only the eyes are visible.

 

 

결국 더 큰 베개로 그림 가려버림. 방콕 수코솔 호텔에서 투숙하는 동안 계속 이러고 지냈어요.

아래침대에서 자다가 위에서 저 베개 떨어지면 완전 놀래는거 아닌가 몰라...

In the end, I covered the picture with an even larger pillow. I spent my time at Sukosol Hotel in Bangkok like this.

I don't know if I'll be completely startled if the pillow falls from above while sleeping below...

 

 

옷장안에 목욕 가운, 세탁물주머니, 구두주걱, 슬리퍼 있어요.

There are bathrobes, laundry bags, shoe horns, and slippers in the closet.

 

 

미니 냉장고 있고 무료 물도 있어요. 

 

There's a mini fridge and complimentary water available.

 

 

화장실 세면대 선반이 넓어서 편하고 아주 좋았어요.

저는 호텔 많이 이용하다 보니까 화장실 세면대 공간 넓은것을 선호해요.

왜냐면 화장품 파우치 등등 옆에 막 올려놓기 좋으니깐요. 

 

The sink countertop in the bathroom was spacious and very comfortable.

As someone who uses hotels frequently, I prefer spacious sink countertops in bathrooms.

Because it's convenient to place pouches and other items on the side.

 

 

욕조는 폭이 엄청 좁고 낮았어요. 

(태국에는 다 날씬한 사람들만 있어서 그런가...)
몸집이 큰 사람들에게는 반신욕 하기에 적합해 보이지 않았어요. 

 

The bathtub was extremely narrow and low.

(Maybe it's because everyone in Thailand is slim...)

It didn't seem suitable for larger individuals to take a half-body bath.

 

호텔 6층에 가면 헬스장, 수영장, 스파샵 있어요. 
엘리베이터 안에서 모니터를 봤는데, 여기 호텔에서 에프터눈 티세트 판매 하나봐요.

 

On the 6th floor of the hotel, there's a gym, swimming pool, and spa shop. I saw a monitor inside the elevator, and it seems like they sell afternoon tea sets here at the hotel.

 

 

헬스클럽, 수영장, 스파샵 가 봤는데 호텔에 걸맞게 시설 좋고 괜찮았어요. 
태국은 호텔 밖에만 나가도 사방에 마사지샵이 즐비하기 때문에 호텔 스파샵은 패쓰!! 했어요.

I checked out the health club, swimming pool, and spa shop, and they were all well-equipped and nice, fitting for the hotel. Since there are plenty of massage shops everywhere outside the hotel in Thailand, I decided to pass on the hotel spa shop.

 

 

더 수코솔 호텔 야외로 나가면 이런 예쁜 공간이 나와요.
여긴 낮에도 예쁘고 밤에도 예쁜 나름 포토스팟이에요.

 

When you step outside of The Sukosol Hotel, you'll come across this beautiful space. It's pretty during the day and equally beautiful at night, making it a perfect photo spot.

 

 

방콕 시내이지만 마치 휴양지 온 것 같은 느낌이 나요.

슬슬 산책 나오기 좋은 곳이었어요.

Even though it's in downtown Bangkok, it feels like being at a resort. It's a perfect place for a stroll.

 

 

방콕 수코솔 호텔 근처에 - 팩토리커피, 팁사마이, 쾅 씨푸드, MK수끼, 쇼핑몰, 탑스마켓 슈퍼, 렛츠릴렉스 마사지샵 다 있어요. 그냥 호텔 주변에 왠만한건 다 있다고 보시면 됩니다.

그리고 지하철 2 정거장만 타고 가면 씨암 파라곤이에요. 하 여긴.. 위치 하난 대박이에요.

 

Near The Sukosol Hotel in Bangkok, you'll find Factory Coffee, Tipsamai (famous for pad Thai), Kung Seafood, MK Suki, shopping malls, Tops Market Supermarket, and Let's Relax Massage Shop. Basically, you can find everything you need around the hotel area.

Moreover, just two subway stops away is Siam Paragon. So, the location here is just fantastic.

 

 

호텔 주변에 팩토리커피 있길래 와봤어요. 

이것저것 다 먹어봤는데 그 중 딱 하나만 먹어야 한다면 '미쎄스 콜드' 이것만 드시면 됩니다.
빨대없이 뚜껑열어 마시는 꼬수운 아이스라떼맛인데, (얼음이 없는) 콜드라떼라고 생각하면 될거에요.

얼음있는 아이스라떼는 얼음이 점점 녹으면서 마지막에는 싱거워지잖아요? 

마지막 한 방울까지 꼬순 맛을 유지하면서 먹을 수 있는 미쎄스 콜드. 천상의 맛임.
팩토리커피 매장에서 병 커피 선물용으로 사 봤는데 매장에서 먹는 커피맛이랑 다르고 뭔가 별로였어요.

 

I visited Factory Coffee near the hotel.

I tried various items, but if I had to choose just one, it would be the 'Mess Cold'. It's an icy latte without a straw, so you open the lid and drink directly. Think of it as a cold latte without ice.

With regular iced lattes, the ice melts, and it becomes watery towards the end, right?

But with the Mess Cold, you can enjoy that creamy taste until the last drop. It's heavenly.

I bought bottled coffee as a gift at the Factory Coffee store, but it tasted different from the coffee served in the store and wasn't that great.

 

미쎄스 콜드 마셔보고 너무 맛있어서 플랫화이트 또 시켰어요. 

여기 커피 사이즈가 굉장히 작아서 (한국 종이컵 사이즈임 ) 1인당 2잔씩 마셔도 전혀 문제 없어요. 
팩토리커피 플랫화이트도 꼬숩고 맛있는 커피였는데, 사실 이건 한국 어디에서도 경험할 수 있는 맛이었어요.

약간 블루보틀 라떼맛이랑 비슷했습니다.

After trying the Mess Cold and finding it delicious, I ordered another Flat White.

The coffee sizes here are quite small (similar to Korean paper cup sizes), so it's not a problem to have two cups per person. The Flat White at Factory Coffee was also delicious and had a distinctive taste, but to be honest, it was a flavor you could find anywhere in Korea.

It was somewhat similar to the taste of Blue Bottle's latte.

 

 

팩토리커피 바로 옆에 렛츠릴렉스 마사지 샵이 있어요.

가능한 시간 물어보고 바로 마사지 받았습니다. 프랜차이즈 마사지샵이라서 시설 깨끗하고 좋았어요.
시작할때 웰컴티 제공해 주고, 마사지 끝나면 따뜻한 차와 망고밥까지 줍니다.

저는 방콕에서 왜 망고밥을 먹는지 이해하지 못했었는데, 여기서 먹어보고 이때부터 '아..이 음식이 맛있구나' 느꼈어요. 
밥에 꽂아준 연유 뿌려서 먹으니까 맛있고 속이 든든했어요.

마사지 샵에서 밥을 주다니 ㅎㅎㅎ 많은 스파샵 이용했지만 처음 경험해봤습니다. 

Right next to Factory Coffee, there's a Let's Relax Massage Shop.

I inquired about availability and immediately got a massage. Since it's a franchise massage shop, the facilities were clean and nice. They provided a welcome tea at the beginning, and after the massage, they even offered warm tea and mango sticky rice.

I didn't understand why people eat mango sticky rice in Bangkok before trying it here, but from then on, I felt like, 'Ah... This dish is delicious.' It tasted great with the sweetened condensed milk drizzled over the rice, and it was quite filling.

It was my first time experiencing a massage shop offering rice, haha. I've visited many spa shops, but this was a new experience.

 

밤 되니까 더 예쁜 수코솔 호텔 모습이에요.
이곳 호텔 합리적인 금액에 위치 좋다고 입소문 났는지 로비에 한국사람이 많이 보였어요. 

 

At night, The Sukosol Hotel looks even more beautiful. There were many Korean guests in the lobby, perhaps because this hotel has gained a reputation for its reasonable prices and excellent location.
