[인터컨티넨탈 시드니 호텔] '오페라하우스'와 '하버브릿지'가 한눈에 보이는 수영장

눈사람 호텔리뷰가 이번엔 '인터컨티넨탈 시드니 호텔'에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다. 
시드니 여행 하면서 총 5군데 호텔을 이용했는데, 그 중 가장 좋았던 호텔이 바로 인터컨티넨탈 시드니 호텔이에요.
위치 정말 좋고 고급스러움의 끝판왕이에요!!
 

The Snowman Hotel Review is now documenting the experience of staying at the InterContinental Sydney Hotel. Throughout my Sydney trip, I stayed at a total of 5 hotels, among which the InterContinental Sydney Hotel stood out as the best.
The location is excellent, and it's the epitome of luxury!!
 

 
로비에서부터 느껴지는 고급스러움이 다른 호텔과는 확실히 남달랐어요.. ㅎ ㄷ ㄷ

The luxury felt from the lobby was definitely on another level compared to other hotels.. 😲✨

 

 
로비 테이블에 '린트 초콜릿'이 세팅되어 있어요. 체크인 하기 전부터 초콜릿 한입 먹으니 기분이 좋아지는 군요.
이 초콜릿을 면세점에서 선물로 구입하곤 했었는데, 이렇게 한꺼번에 쌓아놓고 투숙객들에게 나눠주는 호텔 클라스에 다시한번 놀랐습니다. 
 
On the lobby tables, they had 'Lindt chocolates' set up. Just taking a bite of chocolate before check-in really lifted my spirits.
I used to buy these chocolates as gifts from duty-free shops, but I was once again amazed by the class of the hotel, where they piled them up and distributed them to the guests.
 

 
호텔 엘리베이터조차 럭셔리 해요.  카드키를 대면 저절로 내가 예약한 층에 도달합니다. 
따로 층수를 누를 필요가 없었어요. 
 
Even the hotel elevator was luxurious. Just scan your card key and it automatically takes you to the floor you've reserved. No need to press any floor buttons separately.
 

 
방으로 들어왔는데 룸 컨셉이 '그레이와 은은한 민트 조합'으로 세련된 느낌을 느낄 수 있었어요. 
어두컴컴하게 커튼을 다 쳐 놔서 열려고 시도했는데 커튼이 너무 무거운 거에요.
알고보니 버튼만 누르면 자동으로 쫙~열리는 커튼이었습니다.
 
When I entered the room, I could feel the sophisticated vibe with the combination of gray and subdued mint. I tried to open the curtains in the dimly lit room, but they felt quite heavy. It turned out they were automatic curtains that opened smoothly with just the press of a button.
 

 
이야...호텔 층이 높아서 그런지 방에서 보는 시드니 도시 뷰가 정말 멋졌어요. 
호텔 만족도 최상이었어요. 
특히 근처에 보타닉가든 (왕립식물원) 이 있어서 푸릇한 전경이 정말 좋더군요. 
 
Perhaps due to the high floor of the hotel, the view of the Sydney city from the room was truly breathtaking.
Overall, the hotel satisfaction was top-notch.
Especially with the nearby Royal Botanic Garden, the lush scenery was absolutely delightful.
 

 
아이를 위한 선물도 주셨어요. (감사합니다 ^^ )
색연필, 색칠공부, 스티커가 들어있었어요. 
구글지도에 인터컨티넨탈 시드니 호텔 정보를 보면 , 한국어가 가능하다고 되어 있어요.
그래서 그런지 이 호텔 안에 한국인 호텔직원을 볼 수 있었고 따로 인사도 해주시고 정말 친절했어요. 
 

They even provided a gift for my child. (Thank you ^^)
It contained colored pencils, coloring books, and stickers.
When I checked the hotel information on Google Maps, it stated that Korean was available. Perhaps because of that, I encountered Korean hotel staff inside the hotel, and they greeted me separately. They were really kind and accommodating.
 

 
호텔 화장실도 정말 마음에 들었어요. 최근 이용해 본 경험 중 제일 예쁜 화장실 인테리어였어요.
화장실 벽과 바닥은 올 화이트 대리석에 그레이컬러 세면대가 세련된 느낌 그 자체였습니다. 
호텔 어메니티는 바이레도 제품이었어요. 

 
The hotel bathroom was also really delightful. It had the most beautiful interior design among the experiences I've had recently.
The walls and floor of the bathroom were all white marble, with a stylish gray-colored sink. It exuded sophistication.
The hotel amenities were from the brand BYREDO.
 

 
전세계 다녀보니까 인터컨티넨탈 슬리퍼는 항상 두툼하고 좋았던 것 같애요. 
샤워 후 입는 가운도 두툼하니 좋았어요. 
 
In my travels around the world, I've found that InterContinental slippers are always thick and comfortable.
The bathrobe provided for after the shower was also thick and cozy.
 

 
미니냉장고와 4종류 차, 커피캡슐과 머신 그리고 핫초코가 있었어요.
 
There was a mini refrigerator, a selection of 4 types of tea, coffee capsules and a machine, as well as hot chocolate available.
 

 
여기 호텔은 커피잔이 엄청 특이해요.  위아래 그림문양이 다른 커피잔은 처음 써 봅니다.  
보통 커피잔은 위아래 그림을 똑같이 맞춰서 사용하잖아요?!
서로 다른 그림을 조합해서 커피를 마셔볼 수 있는 점이 트렌디 하고 인상 깊었답니다.
저에게 컵과 컵받침이 꼭 세트여야 한다는 편견을 없애줬어요. 
똑같은 커피잔인데 받침에 따라 느낌이 달라지는 것을 보고 많은 영감을 받았습니다. 
그리고 테이크아웃 컵은 뚜껑이 말랑말랑한 고무재질이었어요. 

The hotel has very unique coffee cups. It's the first time I've used cups where the top and bottom patterns are different. Normally, coffee cups have matching patterns on the top and bottom, right?! Being able to combine different patterns to drink coffee was trendy and memorable. It helped me get rid of the prejudice that cups and saucers had to be a set. I was inspired by how the feeling changes depending on the saucer, even though the coffee cups are the same. It made me realize how small details can make a big difference. The takeaway cups had soft rubber lids.
 

 
볼펜조차 예쁘네요.
전에도 호텔볼펜 비교 포스팅을 했었지만, 인터컨티넨탈 볼펜은 싸구려 느낌 안 나고 색감, 디자인, 그립감 전부 완벽했어요. 작은 소품조차 많은 신경을 쓰는 호텔인데, 한가지 아쉬운 점은 호텔직원에게 전화를 걸면 통화 연결이 잘 안됩니다.
호텔 직원수가 부족한지 아니면 이 날 유독 바뻤던 날인지 모르겠는데, 호텔 직원과 통화 한번 하려면 3번 이상은 걸어야 겨우 통화 성공했었어요. 이 점만 개선되면 더할나위 없는 좋은 호텔입니다.  
 
Even the pens are pretty.
I've done comparison posts on hotel pens before, but the InterContinental pen doesn't feel cheap at all. The color, design, and grip were all perfect.
Even though the hotel pays attention to small details, one disappointing aspect is that it's hard to get through to the hotel staff when making a phone call. I'm not sure if there was a shortage of staff on that particular day or if it was just unusually busy, but I had to call three times or more just to get through to a hotel staff member. If this issue is addressed, it would truly be an excellent hotel.
 

 
31층에 올라가면 수영장, 헬스장, 인터컨티넨탈 클럽이 있어요. 헬스장 먼저 가봤는데 층수가 높아서 그런지 시드니 도시 전경을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 곳이었어요.이런곳에서 운동할 맛 나겠는데?! 
 
Once you reach the 31st floor, you'll find the swimming pool, gym, and InterContinental Club. I went to the gym first, and it offered a panoramic view of the Sydney cityscape, probably because of the high floor.
Exercising in a place like that must be such a treat, right?!
 

 
그리고 수영장에서 '오페라하우스'와 '하버브릿지'가 한눈에 보여요.
이 호텔 이용하실 계획이라면 수영복은 꼭 챙기세요 꼭!!!! 세상에...시드니 여행 온 기분을 제대로 만끽할 수 있는 곳이었습니다. 밤되면 야경 또한  아주 멋진 곳이에요. 
수영장은 밤 10시까지였는데 시드니 야경 보려고 밤에 수영하는 사람들이 많았어요. 
한쪽 창문엔 하버브릿지, 한쪽 창문엔 오페라 하우스가 떡하니 보이니까... 심지어 가짜로 걸어놓은 그림인 것 같은 착각을 할 수 있어요.. 그런데 실제 전경 맞습니다. 

And from the swimming pool, you can see both the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge at a glance.
If you plan to stay at this hotel, be sure to bring your swimsuit!!! Oh my... it was truly a place where you could fully enjoy the feeling of being in Sydney. And at night, the view is absolutely stunning.
The pool was open until 10 PM, but there were many people using it at night to enjoy the Sydney skyline. With one window showing the Harbour Bridge and the other the Opera House, it almost feels like a fake picture hanging on the wall... but it's the real view.
 

 
그 다음 날 호텔 조식 먹으러 Level 1으로 갔어요. 
조식 레스토랑 이름은 The Conservatory.

The next day, I went to Level 1 for breakfast at The Conservatory restaurant.
 

 
조식 먹으러 갈 때 2층에서 내려다 본 로비 바, 더 트레저리(The Treasury) 가 너무 아름다웠어요. 
건물 벽이 특이해서 찍어봤어요. 역사적인 건물 분위기 벽과 현대적인 건물 분위기 벽이 함께 조화를 이룬 모습이에요. 
자료를 찾아봤는데 오래된 세관(Old Treasury Building)을 개조하여 호텔로 운영되고 있다고 합니다. 그래서 그런지 더 독특한 분위기를 선사하는 것 같애요. 
 
When I went down to have breakfast, I couldn't help but admire the view of The Treasury, the lobby bar, from the second floor. The building's walls were so unique that I had to take a picture. It was a beautiful harmony of historical and modern architectural elements.
I looked it up and found out that the hotel is operated by refurbishing the old Treasury Building. Perhaps that's why it exudes such a unique atmosphere.
 

 
레스토랑 분위기는 이렇게 생겼구요. 안쪽에 뷔페 공간이 더 있었어요. 
조식 먹어본 후기. 결론부터 말하자면 아주 만족스러운 식사였습니다. 
 
The atmosphere of the breakfast restaurant looked like this, and there was even more buffet space inside.
As for the review of the breakfast experience, to cut to the chase, it was a very satisfying meal.
 

 

 
메뉴를 살펴봤는데 해시브라운, 스크램블에그, 베이컨, 소시지, 와플, 구운 버섯과 토마토 등 ..딱 서양식 아침식사였어요.
 
I checked out the menu, and it was a classic Western-style breakfast with options like hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, roasted mushrooms, and tomatoes.
 

 
그 중 수란 얹은 시금치튀김 빵이 정말 맛있었어요.  시금치 식감이 바삭거리고 맛있어서 기억에 남는 메뉴랍니다. 
아이스 커피 주문해서 같이 먹으니까 잘 어울렸어요. 
 
That sounds delicious! The spinach and poached egg on toast must have been a delightful treat. The crispy texture of the spinach combined with the poached egg must have made it a memorable dish. Pairing it with an iced coffee sounds like a perfect combination.
 

 
안쪽에 있는 뷔페 코너 가봤는데 어디서 이렇게 예쁜 과일들만 모아다 놨는지... 과일 상태가 신선하고 좋아보였어요. 
반달모양 창문에 보이는 초록색 나무 배경과 붉은색 과일 색감의 조화가 너무 예쁘더라구요. 

 
It sounds like they curated a beautiful selection of fruits at the buffet corner! The fresh and vibrant appearance of the fruits must have been very inviting. The harmony between the green hues of the foliage seen through the arched windows and the vibrant red colors of the fruits must have created a picturesque scene.
 

 

 
메뉴 살펴보니까 과일, 샐러드, 각종 빵, 디저트 종류,치즈, 햄, 요거트, 라따뚜이를 포함한 핫디쉬가 있었어요. 
 
It sounds like they had quite a variety of options on the menu, including fruits, salads, assorted breads, desserts, cheeses, ham, yogurt, and hot dishes such as ratatouille.
 

 
글루텐 프리 존 도 있었답니다. 이처럼 호텔에서 다양한 식사 옵션을 제공하고 있어요. 
 
'글루텐프리'는 밀에 들어있는 단백질인 글루텐을 배제한 것을 말합니다.
일부 사람들은 글루텐 소화에 문제가 있거나 글루텐 섭취 후 소화기 장애가 발생할 수 있습니다. 이러한 이유로 글루텐프리 식단은 (밀을 제외한) 곡류와 곡물, 고소한 씨앗과 열매, 채소, 달걀, 육류, 생선, 아몬드 밀, 코코넛 밀, 옥수수, 쌀, 퀴노아 등을 포함합니다.
 
Gluten-free zone also existed. The hotel offers a variety of dining options like this.
 
Gluten-free' refers to the exclusion of gluten, a protein found in wheat. 
Some people may have difficulty digesting gluten or experience digestive disorders after consuming gluten. For this reason, gluten-free diets include grains and cereals (excluding wheat), nuts and seeds, fruits and vegetables, eggs, meat, fish, almond flour, coconut flour, corn, rice, quinoa, and so on.
 

 
빵과 함께먹는 라따뚜이가 정말 맛있었어요. 
연어는 짭조름하고 샐러드와 잘 어울려서 손이 계속 가고, 디저트도 또한 훌륭했어요. 
호텔 에프터눈 티 먹을 때 나오는 디저트만큼! 음식 외관에 많이 신경쓴 퀄리티였어요. 
 
The ratatouille served with bread was absolutely delicious. The salmon was savory, complementing the salad perfectly, and the desserts were equally excellent. The overall quality of the food was as impressive as the desserts served during the hotel's afternoon tea! It was evident that a lot of attention was paid to the presentation and quality of the food.
 

 
계란요리를 주문할 때, 메뉴에서 원하는 재료만 선택할 수 있습니다.  
차와 라떼를 주문하면, 커피 한잔도 허투로 나오지 않고 다 라떼아트해서 나오더라구요.
 
When ordering egg dishes, you can choose the ingredients you want from the menu.
And when you order tea or latte, they don't just serve coffee; instead, they make it a latte art presentation every time.
 

 
조식먹고 배불러서 호텔 안 구경했어요. 로비에 베라왕 웨딩드레스 샵 있어서 보면서 눈호강했네요. 
 
After having breakfast and feeling full, I took a look around the hotel.
There is a Vera Wang wedding dress shop in the lobby. The wedding dresses were so beautiful that I enjoyed admiring them.
 

 
이 호텔 바로 맞은편에 시드니 박물관 있거든요. 여기 무료인데 나름 볼만했어요. 
박물관 유리창 보이는 건물이 바로 인터컨티넨탈 시드니 호텔이에요. 얼마나 가까운지 감이 오죠?!
조식 먹고 슬슬 구경하러 오기 좋은 곳이에요. 
 
Right across from the hotel is the Sydney Museum. It's free to enter and quite interesting. The building with the museum's glass windows is the InterContinental Sydney Hotel. Can you imagine how close it is?! It's a perfect place to visit after breakfast.
 

 
시드니 박물관은 오페라하우스를 형상화 한 작품들을 많이 볼 수 있는 곳이었답니다. 
오페라하우스 조명, 오페라하우스 퍼즐이 기발한 것 같애요.  시드니는 오페라하우스를 정말 사랑하는 군요. 
 
The Sydney Museum showcases many artistic representations of the Sydney Opera House. They have innovative pieces like the Opera House lighting and Opera House puzzles. Sydney is truly a city that loves the Sydney Opera House.
 

 
특히 레고 장난감으로 만든 이 거대한 작품이 압권이에요. 시드니 뮤지엄에서 꼭 봐야할 작품..
그러고 보면 레고로 못 만드는게 없는거 같애요.
저 수많은 레고 사람들 속에 외계인 한명 앉아있거든요? 그거 찾는 재미도 있었어요. 
(힌트는 회색 외계인 이에요.) 
레고 하나하나 살펴보면 표정도 다르고 포즈도 달라서 재밌었어요.  
 
That's right! Especially the gigantic piece made from LEGO toys is absolutely stunning. It's a must-see exhibit at the Sydney Museum. When you look closely, it seems like there's nothing LEGO can't build. Among the countless LEGO figures, there's one alien sitting among them. It was fun trying to spot it. (Hint: It's a gray alien.) Each LEGO figure has different expressions and poses, making it quite entertaining to examine.
