[골든플래닛호텔] 설봉온천 패키지 호캉스 다녀온 후기

눈사람호텔리뷰가 이번에는 경기도 이천에 위치한 '골든플래닛 호텔' 에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.

This time, The Snowman Hotel Review will record the experience of visiting the 'Golden Planet Hotel' located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
 

 
이곳은 21년도에 새롭게 건설된 코아루휴티스 건물의 103동 일부를 호텔 객실로 개조한 독특한 호텔입니다.
와.. 호텔 입구에서 위를 바라보니 건물이 엄청 높네요.

This place is a unique hotel that converted part of Building 103 of the newly constructed Coru Huitis building in 2021 into hotel rooms. Wow.. looking up from the hotel entrance, the building is incredibly tall.
 

 
주말에 서울에서 가까운 경기도 이천으로 온천 호캉스 다녀왔어요.
'골든플래닛호텔'의 설봉온천 패키지는 객실+ 온천+ 카페 음료까지 모두 즐길 수 있었습니다.  

I went on a hot springs getaway to Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, which is close to Seoul, over the weekend. The 'Golden Planet Hotel' offered a Seolbong hot springs package where I could enjoy both the room and hot springs, along with complimentary café beverages.
 

 
건물 지상 2층부터 4층까지 주차장이라고 합니다. 
그래서 주차 후에는, 103동 쪽에 있는 엘리베이터를 타고 다시 1층에 위치한 골든플래닛 프론트로 가면 됩니다.

The parking is on floors 2 to 4 of the building. So after parking, you can take the elevator on the 103 building side to go back to the Golden Planet front desk located on the 1st floor.
 

 
1층 호텔 로비에 도착했습니다.
이 호텔은 카드키를 사용하는 대신 일회용 번호키를 사용한다고 해요.
퇴실 시에는 번호키가 안전상 폐쇄된다고 합니. 
 
I've arrived at the lobby on the 1st floor.
This hotel uses disposable number keys instead of card keys.
Upon check-out, the number key will be securely deactivated.
 

 
체크인 하고 올라가보니 '아파트식 호텔' 레지던스였어요.
참고로 이 호텔은 애견동반이 가능한 호텔이며 추가 비용으로 5만원을 더 내야 합니다. 
 
When I checked in and went up, I realized it was a "residence-style hotel" like an apartment.
Just to note, this hotel allows pets to stay with an additional fee of 50,000 won.

 

 
들어가자마자 신발장 안에 슬리퍼가 있었습니다.
카페트 바닥이 아닌 호텔 룸이라서 슬리퍼를 신지 않고 생활했어요.
 
As soon as I entered, there were slippers in the shoe rack.
Since it wasn't a hotel room with carpeted floors, I didn't wear the slippers during my stay.
 

 
트리플 룸을 이용했는데 침대 2개, 작은 탁자, 그리고 발코니가 있었습니다.
발코니 창문은 전동식이어서 환기를 원할  창문 작동버튼을 부르면 된다고 하네요.

The triple room had two beds, a small table, and a balcony.
The balcony window is electric, so you just need to press the window operation button for ventilation.
 

 
창문 밖으로는 설봉온천과 안흥지 호수의 멋진 경치가 보였습니다. 
건물이 높아서 멋진 뷰 하나는 정말 끝내주는 곳이에요. 
날씨가 좋은 날에는 여기 놀러와서 온천을 즐기고 산책하기 딱 좋은 장소라고 생각합니다. 

Outside the window, I could see the magnificent views of Seolbong Hot Springs and Anheungji Lake. The building's height provides an incredible view that is truly breathtaking. On a sunny day, it's the perfect place to come and enjoy the hot springs and take a leisurely stroll.
 

 
와 그런데 ㅎㄷㄷ 설봉온천 주차장 좀 보세요.
차가 얼마나 많은지... 계속 끝없이 들어오던데요.
저 수많은 인파를 보니 설봉온천 패키지 호캉스 점점 더 기대가 됩니다.

Wow, but take a look at the parking lot of Seolbong Hot Springs.
There are so many cars... They just keep coming endlessly.
Seeing all those crowds, I'm getting even more excited about the Seolbong Hot Springs package getaway.
 

 
그리고 탁자 위에는 투숙객을 위한 '다과 바구니'가 준비되어 있었습니다.
환영 메세지 카드와 함께 음료수, 과자, 차, 커피가 있었어요.  세심한 서비스 감사합니다.
 

And on the table, there was a "snack basket" prepared for the guests.

Along with a welcome message card, there were beverages, snacks, tea, and coffee. Thank you for the thoughtful service.

 

 

 
옷장 공간이 아주 넉넉해서 여행용 가방을 놓기에 편했고요.
보통 호텔 가운은 두꺼운 타올 재질로 되어 있는데, 이곳은 호텔 가운이 천 재질이라 엄청  편해보였어요.
호텔 마크와 컬러감도 예쁘네요.

The closet space was very spacious, making it convenient to place my travel bag. Usually, hotel robes are made of thick towel material, but here, the hotel robe was made of fabric, which looked very comfortable. The hotel logo and colors were also very pretty.
 

 
세탁기, 인덕션, 전자레인지, 전기 주전자, 냄비, 그릇 등이 구비되어 있어 장기투숙하기 좋은 호텔이에요.
그래서 그런지 비지니스 출장으로 오는 투숙객들이 많다고 합니다.

There are amenities like a washing machine, induction stove, microwave, electric kettle, pots, and dishes, making it a great hotel for long-term stays. That's why it's popular among business travelers who are here for work purposes.
 

 
대형 냉장고 안에는 무료로 물 3병이 들어 있습니다.
또한, 지내다보니 냉장고 앞에 싱글 침대가 구조상으로 튀어나와 있고 냉장고 손잡이도 돌출된 디자인이에요. 그래서 공간 이 좁아지는 곳이니, 왔다갔다 할 때 발이나 손이 다칠 수 있어 조심해야해요.

In the large refrigerator, there are three complimentary bottles of water.

Also, I noticed that in front of the refrigerator, there is a single bed protruding structurally, and the refrigerator handle is designed to protrude as well. Therefore, it's a narrow space, so you should be careful not to hurt your feet or hands when moving back and forth.

 

 

 
호텔 화장실은 딱! 신축 아파트의 화장실처럼 생겼어요.
어메니티는 비누, 샴푸, 바디워시만 제공됩니다. 어차피 설봉온천 가려면, 목욕탕에 가듯이 필요한 준비물 전부 챙겨오세요. 저는 맨손으로 갔다가 안에서 전부 돈주고 구비하였답니다... 화장실 수납장 안에 헤어 드라이기가 있었고, 바디 타올은 화장실 밖 선반 위에 있었습니다.

The hotel bathroom is just like a newly built apartment's bathroom. Only soap, shampoo, and body wash are provided as amenities. Anyway, if you're planning to visit Seolbong Hot Springs, make sure to bring all the necessary items as if you were going to a public bathhouse. I went there empty-handed and bought everything inside with my money. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom cabinet, and body towels were placed on a shelf outside the bathroom.
 

 
3층에 위치한 헬스장을 가봤는데, 피트니스 시설이 깨끗하게 유지되어 보였어요. 
 
I visited the gym located on the 3rd floor, and the fitness facilities looked well-maintained and clean.
 

 
600년의 역사를 자랑하는 설봉온천!!
뭔가 티켓부터 전통적인 분위기가 어마어마한 곳이네요. 저도 그 유명한 온천 한번 가보겠습니다.
골든플래닛 호텔에서 얼마나 가깝냐면?! 바로 길만 건너면 있어요

With a history spanning 600 years, Seolbong Hot Springs boasts a traditional atmosphere right from the tickets.
And how close is it to the Golden Planet Hotel? Just across the street!
 

 
온천 입구 들어서자마자 이천 쌀이 쌓여있는 걸 보았어요.
아, 맞다! 이천은 쌀이 유명했었지..
판매하는 건지는 모르겠지만, 목욕탕에 쌀이 쌓여 있는 모습이 그냥 신기했습니다.

As soon as I entered the hot spring entrance, I saw stacks of Icheon rice.
Oh, right! Icheon is famous for its rice.
I'm not sure if they were selling it, but it was just fascinating to see rice stacked in the bathhouse.
 

 
설봉온천 패키지는 목욕만 포함이고 찜질방까지 이용하려면 1인당 3천원의 추가요금이 있습니다.
찜질방 규모는 크지 않지만, 나름 아이들이 놀 수 있는 시설이 있어서 어른들이 편안하게 찜질 할 수 있었어요.
 
설봉온천을 이용한 후 느낀 총평을 말해보자면?!
평범한 목욕탕 시설이지만 확실히 물이 좋긴 좋더라구요. 찜질방까지 이용하면 더 좋으나, 직접 이용해보니 설봉온천 패키지로 목욕만 해도 충분합니다.
세종대왕도 찾아와서 이용했다던 온천이라, 이곳에서 모두 좋은 기운을 받으려고 많이 찾는 것 같았어요.
저도 설봉온천에서 좋은 기운을 받고 갑니다.

온천 여탕에는 헤어 드라이기를 사용하려면 동전을 넣어야 합니다. 그런데 이 날 동전도 없고 현금도 없는지라ㅜㅜ
( 카드랑 삼성페이 카카오페이만 쓰는 요즘...) 목욕 후에 머리를 제대로 말리지 못하고 나왔어요.
다행히 숙소가 바로 앞에 있어서 후다닥 길만 건너서 방에 비치된 드라이기 사용 할 수 있으니 이 또한 큰 장점으로 느껴졌습니다 ^^

The Sulbong Oncheon package includes only bathing, and if you want to use the sauna, there is an additional fee of 3,000 won per person. Although the sauna is not very large, there are facilities where children can play, so adults can comfortably enjoy the sauna.
 
As for my overall impression after using Sulbong Oncheon?! It's a typical bathing facility, but the water quality is indeed good. It would be even better to use the sauna, but having experienced it myself, just bathing with the Sulbong Oncheon package is sufficient. Since it's an oncheon that even King Sejong the Great visited, it seems like everyone comes here to receive positive energy. I also leave feeling rejuvenated after visiting Sulbong Oncheon.
 
To use the hairdryer in the oncheon's women's bath, you need to insert a coin. However, I didn't have any coins or cash that day (in these days when I only use cards, Samsung Pay, and KakaoPay...) so I couldn't properly dry my hair after bathing. Fortunately, since the accommodation is right in front, I could quickly cross the street and use the hairdryer provided in the room, which was also a big advantage.
 

그리고 호텔 침구가 아주 좋아요. 바스락 거리는 촉감이 너무 좋고, 온천을 하고 와서 잠도 잘 왔습니다.

And the hotel bedding is very comfortable. The crisp texture feels so nice, and after enjoying the hot spring, I slept very well.

골든플래닛 호텔 2층에는 탐앤탐스 카페가 있어요. 여기서 커피 2잔 주문했습니다. 아이스커피도 주문 가능해요.

예전에 부산에 위치한 농심호텔( 허심청) 온천 호캉스를 다녀온 경험이 있는데, 그때와 비교해 보자면?! 우선 서울과의 거리가 가까워서 좋아요. 엄마 모시고 부산으로 온천 호캉스를 가려면 마음 먹고 가야하는데, 이 곳은 서울과 1시간 좀 넘는 거리라 부담없이 부모님을 모시기 좋은 곳이라 생각합니다.  시설은 농심호텔 허심청이 더 크고 외국인이 많았던 것 같은데, 여기 골든플래닛 호텔의 설봉온천은 규모는 작지만 완전 전통적인 로컬 분위기로 즐길 수 있다는 점이 좋아요!!
퇴실할 때는 언택스 스마트 호텔 '익스프레스 체크아웃'으로 별도의 프론트 방문 없이 퇴실하는 시스템이었어요.
 

Golden Planet Hotel has a Tom N Toms Cafe on the 2nd floor. I ordered two cups of coffee here. You can also order iced coffee.
Comparing my experience with the previous stay at Nongshim Hotel (Heosimcheong) Oncheon Hot Springs in Busan, it's closer to Seoul, which is a plus. If you want to take your parents to an oncheon hot springs in Busan, you need to make up your mind, but this place is just over an hour away from Seoul, so it's a good place to take your parents without any burden. The facilities may be smaller than those of Nongshim Hotel (Heosimcheong) and seemed to have fewer foreigners, but Golden Planet Hotel's Seolbong Oncheon has a smaller scale, yet you can enjoy a completely traditional local atmosphere, which is nice!
When checking out, they use an 'Express Checkout' system called Unthox Smart Hotel, so you can check out without visiting the front desk separately.
