[홀리데이 인 달링하버] 시드니여행 달링하버 걸어서 10분, IHG 다이아몬드 업그레이드 후기와 조식 솔직리뷰

이번에는 호주 시드니여행 다녀와서 이용했던 호텔 경험을 공유합니다.
 
Snowman Hotel Review.
This time, I'll be sharing my experience staying at a hotel I visited during my trip to Sydney, Australia. 
 

 
이번에는 "홀리데이 인 달링하버" 호텔을 이용했어요.
옆에 차이나타운이 있고 근처에 맛집들이 즐비한 곳이에요.
얼마 전 포스팅한 '홀리데이인 익스프레스 시드니 에어포트' 지점과 비교했을 때 이 곳 호텔이 확실히 위치가 더 좋았습니다.

This time, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour hotel. Located next to Chinatown, it's surrounded by plenty of delicious restaurants. Compared to the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport I posted about recently, this hotel definitely has a better location.

 
호텔 로비는 크기가 아담했어요.

The hotel lobby was cozy in size. Perhaps because I was traveling with child, they provided a welcome gift of colored pencils and cups. Thank you.
 

 
체크인하고 방으로 올라갔어요.
IHG 다이아몬드 등급이라 그런지 룸 업그레이드 해 줬어요. 거실이 있고 욕조가 함께있는 스위트룸이었어요.
들어가자마자 우와 넓다~ 하고 느껴졌어요. 
호텔 건물에서 코너쪽 방이었는데 창문 3곳을 통해 밖을 바라볼 수 있었어요.

After checking in, I went up to my room. Perhaps because of my IHG Diamond status, they upgraded my room. It was a suite with a living room and a bathtub. As soon as I walked in, I thought, 'Wow, it's spacious!' My room was located in a corner of the hotel building, and I could see outside through three windows.
 

방에 무료 물 2병 있어요.
방안이 무료 물이 없다고 하는 리뷰를 몇개 봤는데 만약 없다면 요청해서 받으세요. 추가로 요금 청구 없어요. 

There were two complimentary bottles of water in the room. I've seen a few reviews mentioning the lack of complimentary water in the room, but if it's not available, you can always request it and receive it without any additional charge.
 

 
화장실 시설 컨디션도 마음이 들었어요.
욕조가 마음에 들어서 여기서 지내는 동안 반신욕 했습니다.

The bathroom facilities were also in good condition, which pleased me. I particularly liked the bathtub, so I indulged in a half-bath during my stay here.
 

 
침대 옆 가벽 뒤에는 옷장과 선반이 있는데 여기에 슬리퍼, 드라이기, 다리미가 있어요.
그리고 방안에 차 티백과 커피 있습니다.

Behind the bedside wall next to the bed, there was a closet and a shelf with slippers, a hairdryer, and an iron. Additionally, there were tea bags and coffee in the room.
 

 
창문에서 패디스마켓이 보이는데 저 건물에 큰 슈퍼마켓이 있었어요.
지내는 숙소 근처에 큰 슈퍼마켓 있으면 엄청 편하잖아요.
위치는 저 건물 입구로 들어가 에스컬레이터 타고 오른쪽으로 가면 있어요.

I could see Paddy's Market from the window, and there was a large supermarket in that building. It's really convenient to have a big supermarket near the accommodation. The supermarket is located at the entrance of that building. Just take the escalator up and go to the right.
 

다른쪽 창문으로 보이는 저 건물은 빨래가 널려있는거 보니까 가정집 아파트인 것 같았어요.
그래서 지내는 동안 이쪽 창문은 커튼으로 가려놓고 지냈어요.

The building visible from the other window seemed to be a residential apartment, judging by the laundry hanging out. So, during my stay, I kept the curtains drawn on that side of the window.
 

 

 
호텔 편의시설로는 코인세탁실과 헬스장이 있었어요.
헬스장 구경 갔는데 ㅋㅋ  
와.. 나... 진짜 사람인줄 알았잖아... ㅋㅋ

The hotel had convenient facilities such as a coin laundry and a gym. I decided to check out the gym and... haha... Wow, I... I thought I was actually human... haha
 

 
'홀리데이 인 달링하버'이름처럼 호텔에서 달링하버까지 도보 10분 거리에요.
근처에 텀바롱 공원 있는데 놀이터 있고 놀거리가 많아서 시드니에서 아이랑 가기 좋은 곳이에요.

Just as the name suggests, the Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour. There's a lovely park nearby called Tumbalong Park, which features a playground and plenty of activities, making it a great place to visit with kids in Sydney.
 

 
다음 날 조식 포함이라 아침 먹으러 갔어요.
조식 먹을 때 언제가 한가한지 복잡한지를 얼굴 표정으로 알려주네요. ㅎㅎ
사람이 붐빌 시간(빨간 얼굴 표시)에 내려왔더니 줄 서서 기다렸다가 식당에 들어갔어요.
왠만하면 저 시간은 피하세요.

The next day, I went to have breakfast included with my stay. You could tell whether it was busy or not by the facial expressions of the people. Haha. When I went down during peak hours (indicated by red faces), there was a line, so I had to wait before getting into the restaurant. I'd recommend avoiding that time if possible.
 

 
줄서서 기다렸다가 식당 들어왔는데 엄청 복잡했어요.
특히 공간이 좁은데 테이블을 너무 많이 놔서 테이블간 간격이 좁았어요.
그래서 음식 가지러 갈때 테이블 사이를 요리조리 힘겹게 지나다녔어요.
그리고 음식 뜨는 이장소도 말해 뭐해....양쪽으로 음식뜨는 공간에서 사람들 어깨 닿을 거 같고 지나갈 수도 없고... 아무튼 좁고 복작복작 해요.

I waited in line and finally got into the restaurant, but it was incredibly crowded. Especially because the space was narrow, and they placed too many tables, so the spacing between them was tight. Therefore, it was quite challenging to maneuver through the tables when going to get food. And don't get me started on the serving area... It felt like people's shoulders were touching on both sides of the food serving space, making it impossible to pass through. Anyway, it was cramped and chaotic.
 

 
조식메뉴는 많지 않고 간단히 먹을 수 있는 것들이에요.
스파게티, 소시지, 베이컨, 해쉬브라운, 샐러드, 치즈, 시리얼, 주스, 빵, 커피 등등 있어요.
'홀리데이인 익스프레스 시드니 에어포트 호텔'과 비교했을 때 정말 똑같은 메뉴였어요.

The breakfast menu wasn't extensive and consisted of simple items. There were spaghetti, sausages, bacon, hash browns, salad, cheese, cereal, juice, bread, coffee, and so on. It was exactly the same menu as the Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport hotel when compared.
 

스파게티가 너무 많이 가열했는지 다 뭉개져요. 기억나는건 특히 하얀색 빵이 쫄깃한 식감에 정말 맛있었어요.
간단히 아침 한끼 식사로는 괜찮았는데 여기 호텔 위치가 좋아서 근처에 맛집 많거든요.
개인적으로는 조식 유료로 굳이 포함 안해도 될 것 같애요 ~^^

The spaghetti was overcooked and clumped together. However, I remember the white bread having a deliciously chewy texture, which stood out to me. While it was okay for a simple breakfast, this hotel's location is great because there are many good restaurants nearby. Personally, I feel like paying extra for breakfast might not be necessary. 😊
