[애틀란타 웨스틴호텔] 웨스틴 피치트리 플라자, 아틀란타 랜드마크 웨스틴호텔, 독특한 가구배치

안녕하세요. 눈사람호텔리뷰입니다.
오늘은 미국 애틀란타 갔을 때 이용했던 '웨스틴 호텔' 에 대해서 포스팅 하려고 합니다.
애틀란타 도시에서 웨스틴 호텔은 여러 지점이 있는데, 저는 다운타운에 있는 '웨스틴 피치트리 플라자 호텔'에 다녀왔어요. 

Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.
Today, I'm going to post about the 'Westin Hotel' that I used when I went to Atlanta, USA.
There are several Westin Hotel branches in the city of Atlanta, and I visited the 'Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel' in downtown.

 

호텔 외관은 원통형으로 높고 세련되게 생겼습니다. 

마치 애틀란타 랜드마크처럼 시내 어느곳에서도 잘 보이더군요. 

웨스틴 피치트리 호텔 주변에 코카콜라박물관, 조지아 수족관, CNN, 어린이 박물관, 스카이뷰 등등 유명 관광지가 많았고 호텔에서 도보로 걸어 갈 수 있는 거리라 위치가 아주 좋았습니다. 

 

The hotel's exterior is cylindrical and tall and stylish.
It looks like an Atlanta landmark, and can be seen from anywhere in the city.
There are many famous tourist attractions around the Westin Peachtree Hotel, such as the Coca-Cola Museum, the Georgia Aquarium, CNN, the Children's Museum, and Skyview, and it is within walking distance from the hotel, so the location is very good.

 

호텔 로비는 깔끔하고 넓었습니다. 
로비에 스타벅스와 기념품샵이 있어서 간단한 물, 과자, 음료 등을 살 수 있었습니다. 

The hotel lobby was clean and spacious.

There was a Starbucks and a souvenir shop in the lobby, so I could buy simple things like water, snacks, and drinks.

 

호텔 객실로 올라가려면 카드키 찍고 올라가야 합니다. 

엘레베이터 탈 때 도착층이 나뉘어져 있어서 가고자하는 층을 잘 확인하고 타야 합니다.

(예를 들면 5~40까지, 40~50층까지 타야 할 엘리베이터가 다릅니다.)

To go up to the hotel room, you have to use the card key and go up.
When taking the elevator, the arrival floors are divided, so you have to check the floor you want to go to and get on.
(For example, the elevators for floors 5 to 40 and 40 to 50 are different.)

 

엘리베이터 내려서 복도를 걸어갑니다.
건물 자체가 원통형으로 생겨서...  방을 모르고 지나쳤어도 계속 가다보면 한바퀴 돌아서 제자리로 돌아옵니다. ㅎ
호텔 방에 들어왔는데 아늑한 분위기가 마음에 들었고, 침대 높이가 꽤 높았습니다. 

I got off the elevator and walked down the hallway.
The building itself is cylindrical... so even if I passed by the room without knowing it, if I keep walking, I'll make a full circle and come back to where I started. 
I entered the hotel room and liked the cozy atmosphere, and the bed was quite high.

 

'웨스틴 피치트리 플라자 호텔' 은 뷰가 정말 좋아요.

막히는 곳이 하나도 없는 원통형 건물이라 어느방이든 다 뷰가 좋을거에요.

이용했던 방은 CNN이랑 벤츠 스타디움이 보이는 방이네요. 다른쪽 방은 코카콜라 박물관이 보인다네요.

애틀란타 시내 전경은 밤이 되면 더 끝내줍니다. 

The 'Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel' has a really great view.
It's a cylindrical building with no obstructions, so any room will have a great view.
The room I stayed in had a view of CNN and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The other room had a view of the Coca-Cola Museum.
The view of downtown Atlanta is even better at night.

 

 

옷장안에 다리미는 있는데 슬리퍼가 없어요. 챙겨서 가져가세요.

전세계 호텔을 이용해보니 아시아 지역에서는 호텔 이용 시 슬리퍼가 제공되는데 유럽이나 미국처럼 신발 신는 문화가 있는 곳은 슬리퍼를 제공하지 않는 것 같애요.  

 

There is an iron in the closet, but no slippers. Bring them with you.
I have used hotels all over the world, and in Asia, slippers are provided when you use the hotel, but in Europe or America, where there is a culture of wearing shoes, slippers are not provided.

 

 

방에 냉장고 대신 쿨링기(?) 있는데 냉장고보다 덜 시원하다네요.

열어봤는데 끄악!! 전에 사용했던 투숙객 이 먹다 남긴 콜라가 남아있었어요;;

내손으로 꺼내서 쓰레기통에 버림

There is a cooler(?) in the room instead of a refrigerator, but it is less cool than a refrigerator.
I opened it and ugh!! There was still some cola left over from the previous guest;;
I took it out with my own hands and threw it in the trash can.

 

화장실 깔끔하고 깨끗합니다.

호텔 어메니티는 샴푸, 린스, 바디로션 있는데 샤워젤이 없어요.  
비누는 나뭇잎 모양으로 웨스틴 호텔의 시그니처인가봐요.

전에 방문했던 'LA  다운타운 웨스틴 호텔' 도 비누가 나뭇잎 모양이었거든요. 

The bathroom is neat and clean.
The hotel amenities include shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, but there is no shower gel.
The soap is shaped like a leaf, which seems to be the signature of the Westin Hotel.
The 'LA Downtown Westin Hotel' I visited before also had a soap shaped like a leaf.

 

호텔 9층에 수영장과 헬스장이 있어서 구경 가봤어요. 

표지판 따라 에스컬레이터를 타고 올라가야 합니다. 

헬스장은 카드키를 찍어야 들어갈 수 있었구요. 헬스장 통과해서 수영장으로 가는 문이 있습니다. 

 

There is a swimming pool and gym on the 9th floor of the hotel, so I went to check it out.
You have to follow the signs and take the escalator up.
You have to use your card key to enter the gym. There is a door that leads to the swimming pool after passing through the gym.

 

 

 

방안에 스타벅스 커피 원두와 머신이 있어요. 
호텔 로비에 있는 스타벅스에서 샌드위치 사와서 방안에서 아침 먹었습니다. 

가격은 6불이었는데 따뜻하게 데워주고 아주 맛있었어요. 

There are Starbucks coffee beans and a machine in the room.
I bought a sandwich from Starbucks in the hotel lobby and ate it in the room for breakfast.
It cost $6, and it was warmed up and very delicious.

 

의자 상태가.. 너덜너덜하고 연식이 느껴지네요. 
The condition of the chair is... tattered and looks old.

 

지내면서 느꼈던 점.
롸?? 그런데 가만있어보자.. 호텔 가구 배치가 좀 이상한데?!

침대 헤드가 출입문 쪽임;;

Huh?? But wait a minute.. The hotel furniture arrangement is a bit weird?!
The headboard of the bed is towards the door;;

 

침대에 누웠을 때 창문쪽으로 누우면 괜찮은데, 반대로 돌아 누우면 현관뷰임.

복도에서 사람들 돌아다니는 소리, 인기척 , 가방 끄는 소리 다 느껴짐.

침대 헤드가 현관쪽이 아닌 반대편 안쪽이었으면 더 좋았을 것 같네요. 

그리고 방음 안되서 옆방 알람소리도 다 들립니다.

When lying on the bed, it's okay if you lie facing the window, but if you lie facing the opposite direction, you have a view of the entrance.
You can hear people moving around in the hallway, footsteps, and the sound of bags being dragged.
It would have been better if the headboard of the bed was on the opposite side of the entrance instead of the inside.
And it's not soundproof, so you can hear the alarm from the next room.
