[3100 쿨름호텔] 체르마트 이색호텔, 마테호른 뷰 호텔식당 솔직리뷰, 고르너그라트 전망대

오늘은 스위스 체르마트에서 마테호른이 가장 잘 보이는 곳 '3100 쿨름호텔'에 다녀온 경험을 기록합니다.
스위스 체르마트역에 내려서 산악열차 타고 고르너그라트 전망대에 올라왔어요.

Hello. This is Snowman Hotel Review.

Today, I am sharing my experience at the '3100 Kulmhotel,' the best place to see the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. I arrived at Zermatt Station and took the mountain train up to the Gornergrat Observatory.

 

 

3100 쿨름호텔은 객실이 22개인 규모가 작은 호텔입니다.

호텔외관은 이렇게 생겼구요~ 천문대 처럼 생긴 곳에서 별관찰하는 프로그램도 한다 하네요.
참고로 3100 쿨름호텔은 1박에 80만원대라고 합니다 ㅎ ㄷ ㄷ
엄청 비싼 호텔이에요.

마테호른을 가장 잘 볼 수 있는 호텔이고 설산 정상에 있는 이색 호텔이라 이정도 가격 하나 봅니다.

The 3100 Kulmhotel is a small hotel with just 22 rooms.

Here's what the hotel exterior looks like~ It resembles an observatory, and they even have a stargazing program there. For reference, a night at the 3100 Kulmhotel costs around 800,000 KRW. It's incredibly expensive.

It's likely because this hotel offers the best view of the Matterhorn and is a unique hotel located at the top of a snow-covered mountain.

 

 

그런데 저는 3100 쿨름호텔에서 숙박하지 않고 식당만 이용했어요.

그 이유는 이렇게 날씨 영향을 받기 때문입니다..
1박에 80만원 주고 호텔을 이용하는데 날씨가 안 좋아서 아무것도 안 보이면 속상할 것 같아서요. 

 

I didn't stay at the 3100 Kulmhotel; instead, I only used the restaurant.

The reason is because I didn't want to spend around 800,000 KRW per night at the hotel and end up disappointed if the weather was bad and I couldn't see anything.

 

날씨가 흐리거나 구름이 있으면 앞이 하나도 안 보여요.
산악 지역에서는 날씨가 변덕스럽다고 하니 .. 마테호른이 안 보인다고 실망해서 내려가지 말고 좀 기다려봐야 합니다. 

If the weather is cloudy or there are clouds, you can't see anything in front of you.

In mountainous regions, the weather can be unpredictable, so if you can't see the Matterhorn, don't be disappointed and wait a bit instead of immediately going down.

 

고르너그라트 전망대 구경 한번 하고, 날씨가 좋아지길 기다리며 호텔식당으로 갑니다.
After enjoying the view from Gornergrat Observatory, I'll wait for the weather to improve and then head to the hotel restaurant.

 

 

3100 쿨름호텔 식당은 이렇게 생겼어요. 

고급스러운 분위기는 아니고 푸드코트처럼 캐쥬얼하고 자유로운 분위기였어요. 

 

The restaurant at the 3100 Kulmhotel looks like this.

It had a casual and relaxed atmosphere, more like a food court than a luxurious setting.

 

 

여기서 주문하면 직원이 그릇에 떠 줍니다.
식사 목적은 아니었고 다만 날씨좋아지길 기다리며 간단히 먹자.... 했는데

If you order here, the staff will serve your food onto the plate for you.

My intention wasn't to have a meal; I just wanted to eat something simple while waiting for the weather to improve.

 

 

감자튀김, 소시지, 마카로니 같은 파스타? 이렇게 시켰는데 7만원대 나왔어요.ㅎㄷㄷ

소시지랑 감자튀김은 한접시에 함께 담겨있는 음식사진보면서 이거 달라 했는데 저렇게 각각 따로 접시에 담아 줌.
왜인지 이유는 알 수 없음;;;;

난 두 메뉴를 주문했는데 3접시에 나오니까 뭔가 3인분 주문한 것 같은 이 느낌.
저렇게 각각 나오면 음식 가격이 달라지는지 인터넷 서칭 했는데 찾을 수가 없었어요.
소심해서 물어보지도 못하고 쿨하게 계산하는 척 했답니다..

 

I ordered potato fries, sausages, and pasta, and it cost around 70,000 KRW.

I requested the sausages and fries together based on a picture where they were served on the same plate, but they were served separately on individual plates, for reasons I couldn't understand.

Even though I ordered two items, they came on three plates, giving the impression that I had ordered for three people.

I tried searching online to see if the prices vary when items are served separately, but couldn't find any information. Too shy to ask, I just played it cool and paid.

 

 

푸드코트처럼 주문한 음식을 각자 가지고 마음에 드는 자리에 앉습니다.

마테호른을 보기위해 창가로 자리 잡아 봅니다.

 

Like a food court, you take your ordered food and find a seat wherever you like.

I try to find a seat by the window to catch a glimpse of the Matterhorn.

 

 

먹으면서 마테호른이 나오나~ 안나오나~~ 계속 힐끗 힐끗 쳐다보게 되네요.
소시지랑 감자튀김만 시켰어도 될듯. 파스타가 만들어 놓은지 오래되었는지 뻣뻣하고 맛 없어요...

While eating, I keep glancing at the Matterhorn, wondering if it will appear or not.

I think I could have just ordered the sausages and fries. The pasta seemed to have been sitting out for a while and was tough and tasteless...

 

 

갑자기 나타난 마테호른!!  서둘러 가족들에게 소식 알리고 포크 놓고 감상했어요..
식당에 있는 다른 사람들도 밥 먹다 말고 막 다같이 사진 찍고 구경해요. ㅋㅋㅋ

이때 알았어요. 3100 쿨름호텔 식당을 이용하는 이유를요...
편히 앉아 먹으면서 마테호른 나올때까지 기다릴 수 있다는 장점.. 근데 이것마저도 날씨가 허락해 줘야함
날씨 좋을때 마테호른과 인생사진 건질 수 있는 곳이에요. 

Suddenly, the Matterhorn appears! I quickly let my family know and set aside my fork to admire the view.

Other people in the restaurant also stop eating and start taking pictures and admiring the sight together.

That's when I realized the reason for using the restaurant at the 3100 Kulmhotel... It's the advantage of being able to comfortably sit and wait for the Matterhorn to appear. But even this depends on the weather.

It's a place where you can capture breathtaking photos with the Matterhorn when the weather is nice.

 

 

산이라서 그런지 날씨가 시시각각으로 변해요.
날씨 요정이 도와줘서 마테호른의 뾰족한 꼭대기까지 아주 잘 봤어요.

The weather changes constantly in the mountains, perhaps due to its nature.

Thanks to the weather fairy's help, I could see the pointed peak of the Matterhorn very clearly.

내려가는데 날씨가 점점 더 좋아졌어요.

The weather gradually improved as we descended.

 

체르마트 직접 와보니 느낀 점.
굳이 전망대 안 올라가도... 날씨만 좋으면 체르마트 어디서든 마테호른이 다 보여서 감상 가능했어요.

 

My thoughts after visiting Zermatt in person

You don't necessarily have to go up to the observatory; as long as the weather is good, you can see the Matterhorn from anywhere in Zermatt and enjoy its beauty.
